Professional Hot Electric Styling Brush

The item works great on my few crazy, very curly grey hairs as well as the rest of my moderately curly hair. I use it on high while my hair is slightly damp and it really smooths and sets the curl - where I want it for a change. No frizz curls and no crazy greys poking out every which way & getting noticed! The low setting doesn't do much curling (or straightening), but it does smooth down the hair plates & help hair shine. You will get loose curls on long or medium hair so if you want tighter curls and still use this item, put still hot hair sections on self-grip rollers & let cool about 5-10 mins. I have moderate to severe arthritis in my fingers & wrists, the teeth on this helps me so much compared to standard curling irons. Highly recommended tool, much better than the ones with plastic teeth. If you were a Renac fan, this is the one that works the same as you remember.

I was not as good as expected due to the fact there was not a stand included with the item to keep it from burning a counter top when laid down during use, and the barrel needs to be bigger for proper styling.

so on the reviews I thought this would work, but noooo ,does not get hot like promised,I know I used to be a hairdresser, I loved the ranac iron ,they no longer make it ,so I found this, tried to return what a pain and waste of more money to pay to return it,sure was disappointed

Kinda disappointed with this product. My hair is very stubborn, and it needs more heat than most other people would probably require in order for it to become straighter or flatter.The heat was precisely the issue for me. It didn't heat up enough. The center was nice and hot, but the heat didn't really transfer to the teeth the way it might on a normal hot comb.It worked better for my mom and my sister, but their hair is very different from mine. Very coarse, but they relax their hair, so that may be a factor. I wouldn't recommend this for African American girls who are transitioning into natural hair or are wearing their natural hair. I have kinky coily and wavy hair, transitioning into natural. It didn't do much for me at all. I was hoping for more, I guess.Three stars.

I received the product fairly quick but it is definitely no match to the Renac. Does not get hot enough.

For price paid, it's a good curling brush.

Loved my Stylenac which is no longer made. It took just a few seconds to curl. The instructions for this styling brush says to hold your curl for 20 seconds with the brush. What? Just shows you how little heat it produces. Because of that my style doesn't hold throughout the day and flops by the pm. But this is all that's available.
