there are pin holes in the spoon rest where the finish is thin, and the back side is not glazed (ie not stain resistant)

Woodland creatures in the kitchen
I used to have an adorable squirrel spoon rest that met an unexpected death when I accidentally dropped it.I hoped to find some other woodland creature (because why not have vermin and critters in the kitchen 🤦🏻♀️ as decor?). And my search led me to this cute hedgehog.It is really cute, but it’s also thin and hand washing is recommended. I hope it doesn’t meet the same fate as it’s predecessor.

Cute spoon rest
Love this spoon rest. It sits beside my coffee pot and is the perfect place to rest my spoon.

I have no idea what's happened to my old spoon tests but I'm glad they've disappeared and I got the chance to replace them with the many wonderful options on Amazon. This little guy is adorable AND it's really quite big which was a concern for considering some of the larger ladles and spoons I use regularly. This would make an excellent holder for jewellery while doing dishes, on the bedside or anywhere else you may want a cute but not cheap looking decorative accessory!
