I must have big feet because even without any augmentation these fit snuggly over my leather work boots. I do have very wide feet though. Once I decide which boots I plan on using permanently I may put spots of Gorilla glue on each plate so they stay firmly fixed but flexible. Over the course of a few years I have put together a fine full suit of Chain Mail covered with plate armor. Since all the armor available through the market place is mass produced & I know of no blacksmith's available to make Armor tailored to fit I consider myself very lucky as I have not been forced to make any serious augmentations. I advise anyone who is purchasing armor to keep in mind that it is all about layering! With this in mind as you purchase you may want to get a size or two larger. My best advise is to not do any permanent augmentation until you have a complete outfit. Imagine buying a helmet first only to find out once you have on a matted head cover( necessary if you don't want your hair tangled in Chain Mail), a Chain Mail Coif & now your helmet is to small! These Armor boot cover's are great, they may appear overly long but when you look at all the old Plates & Paintings you will notice this is normal. My feet are very wide & thick being 12 inches long & 7 inches wide. I thought true measurements would be more helpful than boot sizes as I find they vary. So if your feet are about my size you will do fine with these! Smaller feet may want to keep walking past these Armor overshoe's!!!

Metal was bent as some places and the point in the front is quite long. Good quality steel though and fits well over my boots.

They are large. Almost look like clown shoes kinda- but they work. I got steel-toe combat boots i wear with them- and they get the job done. I didnt need to add a stir-up at all. They kinda pinch over my boot and i can kick/walk and they stay on and dont move. I wear a size 10 1-2 boot.

They do not fit securely to any shoe or boot without tieing down or drilling for arming laces. The tip will slip off by walking while the rear band will ride up. If you don't have it secured down somehow, it will try to do a 180 turn on your ankle. I tied mine down with a few leather strips to my boot, one over the top and one over the band on the back. Another fix is to drill two holes in the toe and run laces from your shoe/boot through the holes to tie it down such as with arming shoes. The heel band will dig in to your ankle after an hour of so of wear. That said, it is affordable and once fixed for function, works very well and flexes to running without issue.

I love the versatile design to allow me to fit my shoes underneath, makes it of an easy and adaptable fit!

Best sabatons I've found for the money, a little stiff, need oil, and maybe a little bit of rust buffed out. They fit over my boots which are size 10 or 11, they're not too heavy. While they flopped around at first once drilled two holes on each side to put leather lace thru the bottom. After lacing them under my boots I can walk and run like normal.

These sabatons are a steal the the price. They fit over my boots perfectly. I wear a size 13 US. however they can fit smaller sizes. I am also fairly sure they could be made to fit larger boots if need be. All in all I am 100% satisfied with my purchase!
