The color & material were Very Nice. I ordered the XL size, thinking based on other reviews, so I thought it would be little on the loose side. I have a 40" waist & 47" chest. I couldn't even button the chest. There was at least a 3" gap. didn't even bother trying the waist. The inside tab said " XL". It couldn't have been. Either the label was wrong or the size chart is way off. Too bad...

My husband wore this for his sisters wedding and I think they looked great! Didn’t look like they came from Amazon. My husband wears a large in most shirts and ordered this in a large as well and fit him perfect

The cloth was good quality thick wool, not cheesy thin material. Would purchase again if stocked in the correct size. The Amazon size chart doesn't go with this Made in China product. Needed an XL, ordered a XXL, it fit like a Large which means it just wasn't happening.

I had ordered this vest as part of my costume for a Roaring 20s New year eve party. When it arrived, I was very impressed with the quality and workmanship. The overall weight of the wool blend material feels like something out of a Taylor's shop. The fit is perfectly as advertised ( I ordered one size larger than my sports coat size, and it fits comfortably with just a little extra room). The color and plaid were very nice, and I enjoyed wearing it so much, I am considering ordering a couple more colors to add to my wardrobe . I have not worn vests much in the past, but this purchase has me loving the look and feel of a nice vest to dress up jeans, or are some flash to my Church clothes!

I don't understand the complaints about the sizing running too small. Proper sizing can be challenging for me as I have a 44-inch chest and 34-inch waist, something that frequently straddles both large and medium sizes. I opted for the large size in this vest, thinking it would be easier to take up excess material if needed.When I opened the package and slipped it on, it fit almost perfectly. I was able to take enough slack with the back adjustment for the waist to fit and the upper portion needs less than an inch taken in to fit as snugly as I prefer. Even without it, it still fits closely enough to be worn inside a coat or sweater. It looks good and I'm eager to wear it.

Great vest. Fits perfect and looked just as pictured. Very well made. Definitely a good buy!

Using the size chart provided by the manufacturer, I chose XXL and it fits me perfectly (40 waist, 48 chest). These are meant to be a "slim" fit, which is appropriate for a vest like this. I did have to cinch up the back to get it just right, though. Very happy and I will be getting at least one more in a different color.

Very poor quality control. I ordered this for a wedding I was notified of at the last minute. It did arrive in time, but the quality is terrible. There are loose thread ends in pretty much every stitch. I might have dealt with that, but all three pockets were sewn shut. All three. Sewn shut. Yeah.So it's getting returned. I was offered a replacement, but being as the wedding will be here before the replacement arrives, I guess I'm out of luck.UPDATE: The replacement arrived 2 days after I needed it for a wedding, and it has tje same defects as the first-all the pockets are sewn shut, and there are loose threads all over it-included just coming out of random spots there are no stitches. Returning for a refund, and will avoid this brand in the future.

This is going to be a bit of a funny review .For the fact I don't have as much issue with the product as I do with the other reviews I have read before I purchased this product .Product is well made and a very good deal for its price .My issue is everyone in the review was telling me or saying go a size bigger because the product comes a lot smaller so if you're a large get an extra large if you're an extra large get a double extra large so I did the freaking thing is hugeSo I ordered two more the exact size . So this misleading information made it hard for me to purchase the right size the first time please be aware

I am a XL, but bought a size XXL after reading the reviews, just in case. The vest was delivered quickly. The shoulders fit perfectly in me. But the chest is too wide, and everything below the chest is far too narrow. I can't even button it up at all. And the length is far shorter than described.The material is good, as is the construction. And the pockets are all useable. But the sizing is all wrong. I mean, ALL wrong.I'll be sending it back for a refund.

I recommend this, definatley stands out in a crowd.... my friend said I looked expensive.... bang for your buck... if you put it in your cart and maybe undecided..... pull the trigger great buy... I’m 6’1 250, 40 yrs, xxl fits like a glove..... I rock it with a royal blue button down, blue jeans and a big belt buckle.... comfortable.... pockets are sewed shut, open easily, if I had to say something negative.... I wish the buttons we’re oversized and silver

I agree with the most recent reviewer that you shouldn't trust the earlier reviews. The sizing on this vest AS EXPECTED.Ordered a large, but found that a medium was the correct size. Returning now to exchange.Pros - material is quite nice and the packaging was great. Nice colour too (purchased the light coffee)

Excellent product. Stitching on the back vest is tight and sturdy, and the fabric on the front is high quality, woven and thick. The vest is well tailored and looks good under a blazer or on its own. A good product for urban white collar work or costume. The green is very olive, with a more subdued olive in the back. Not forest green, this would go well with any tweed or earth tones, as it has very little blue in it.
