I had some doubts about battery operated grinder set until I got it and started using it every day with satisfaction. This salt & paper grinder set exceeded my expectations. Apart from its super performance, it’s a high-end add on to my modern style kitchen. I live in Manhattan, New York, the city that loves to celebrate art and my wife has already been bragging about it to her friends from the gym. Since we both eat super healthy and enjoy spices in every meal, this product has come handy. We almost always make food at home, but in case we have tight schedules we use this grinder to add salt & pepper on meals we order. It just feels kinda futuristic to press the button on the top and enjoy the magic. Both units are light and easy to operate. It can definitely be used as a gift for cooka or those that want to become ones, at least temporarily :)

Looked Good..However, Both Salt & Pepper units never really worked well. 3 months later the Pepper Unit simply stopped working completely!Would not purchase againUpdate and change to Review: 3-22-21Milmax was extremely responsive to my complaint about the product! They replaced the Salt and Pepper grinders with a new set! They are genuinely concerned about their customers satisfaction which was VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!They even followed up several times to check on our progress with the product!I would buy other products from them!Unfortunately, the salt grinder still stops while grinding. (We always buy the Himalayan Pink Salt which other grinders handled fine) We are always adjusting the grinding wheel at the bottom. However, after a few uses, we have the same problem. I don’t put them out anymore because our guests can’t use them.I think the unit needs an upgrade in power!

We have spend days looking for something that would fit perfectly into our new dream home kitchen and I have to say, we are extremely happy we have discovered this amazing set of grinders.Packaging is awesome, it definitely protects your grinders on their way to you and prevents the product from being damaged in the shipping process. Box is firm and strong, we have actually saved it.Two beautiful, elegant, and really easy to handle and use grinders came exactly as described and on time.Four AA batteries in and we started playing with them. There are actually 6 different sizes that you can put the grinders on, so you can choose to either be a fancy chef and sprinkle the salad, or you use the big one and add nice rounded pieces of pepper into the soup or a stew.We do live on the ocean, so having this to grind the sea salt is really cool.We would love to encourage everyone to order this set and check everything we are saying them self's. Whoever knows their kitchen, loves a good quality product that will last, be reliable and fun to use, this is a must have in the kitchen.Oh yes, I almost forgot, our 4 year old loves to play with the lights in the dark that is just an amazing feature that grinders have. So, if you are passionate to learn and get your kids to start loving cooking as we are, your gonna find this as a great tool to do so.We wish the Milmax kitchen all the best in their future work, we were happy to order, we will definitely return to buy again, and recomend it to our friends.

I bought the grinders for my hubby since he's a passionate foodie and cooks a lot. He loved them and said they're a perfect tool for his late night kitchen ventures (the shakers have built-in lights). Probably my husband's favorite feature is the 6 different grinding modes: wether he wants bigger pepper or sea salt chunks on his stake or a very fine powder for soup or salad-there is a lot of room for experimenting and fun. What I personally love the most is how easy this product makes grinding dried mushrooms over my mashed potatoes. The cool contemporary design makes these grinders fit in perfectly with our modern kitchen, plus handling is a real joy! I would highly recommend this product! Dad, mom's birthday is around the corner!

This salt and pepper mills are AMAZING!!!First of all, the design of these pepper grinders is a beautiful. Stainless steel is finely made and together with so elegant packaging is a great idea for present.The grind size (fine to Coarse) is easily changed, which is a relief. There is one adjuster at the bottom of pepper mills that makes so simple to change from coarseness to fineness. And a rubber cap at the bottom covers mills and save your kitchen space clean from spilling.The top section has an easy to remove and to put in 4AA batteries. By the way, These mills are fast and, at the same time, very quiet. I used Himalayan salt and the grinding is well as expected. So is pepper. And the light helps to see where the pepper is falling.I love that these came with a little stand. I can put pepper mills on the kitchen island or the dining table or kitchen worktops. Everywhere fit fantastic. I will never use regular salt and pepper shaker after owning this one. So easy to use, just push one button and all done.Easy to load.I highly recommend these salt and pepper mills!!!

beautiful, easy to use, great quality. You can adjust how course or fine it grinds. Also, it lights up your food as you grind so you can see how much you are using! I use peppercorn whole black pepper and sea salt course crystals. Thanks!

The battery compartment on one of the grinders did not line up with the lower half. Could not get top to close. Tried to take screws out and realign. Impossible. Can not use grinder. Don’t waste your money on this product.

I love these! I have used them over a month and so far so good. I like how they evenly disperse salt on my food. Some people say can’t you just use a regular salt shaker? Yes, but these are so cool and grinds the salt and pepper.
