Bristows Traditional Lemon Bon Bons 150g (Pack of 6)

Not good
They don't taste that good. I usually get my lemon bon bons from Ireland and these Bristows are definitely nowhere near as good. Pity! I will go back to my Irish bought sweets. The Bristows coating is far too sweet and saccharine and by the time you get to the toffee part it is not as chewy as I like and much smaller. You could definitely break a tooth on these.

Lemon covered toffee
Not lemon bonbons. Lemon bonbon covered toffees. The toffee is like a slo-poke. What a disappointment!! These are not like a "traditional" bonbon that I've had before when I've had lemon bonbons. I don't like being tricked into buying fundingwhen i thought i was Idkordering something different. They were twice as thick add a normal bonbon to cover the your toffee abs I've been craving lemon bonbons for so long I was so excited when my package arrived before work then felt so let down.

Not how I remember them,
Too much sherbert and too hard and chewy,

Not as good as they used to be but good enough
I bought 1 bag of these to try. I will agree with the other reviewer that these are not perfect but they're also not bad. But given the difficulty of getting Lemon bonbons of any kind in the UK let alone in the US, I will buy them again (until Basset's/Trebor start making them again). I've tried various other "loose" varieties while in the UK and these are as good as most of those.
