Very good quality tap very sharp cut new threads like a charm,

Great biit for threads in wood.

Cut threads very well into extruded aluminum

It works. But it’s too small for my application

This tap worked for me. Had to redo a cross threaded bolt hole on my Harley. Just took it slow with plenty of oil, and after a few turns I was able to restore the threads. Just take your time.

I used the tap to cut internal threads in a stainless steel 304 rod turning in a lathe. It cut 50% depth threads (0.330" tap drill) in a very slow, tedious process. Successful - OK.

This cut well, was sharp and easy to use. I only tapped two holes, so I can't speak to durability.
