ColumbiaWomen's Redmond V2 Waterproof Hiking Shoe

I got these last minute for a week outdoors and did a couple miles to "break them in" (which was totally unnecessary) they were wonderful and my feet, legs, and back were happy campers!

I bought these shoes for a safari trip. They are comfortable enough I wore them on a trip through 3 international airports the first time wearing them. Waterproof. Sturdy. Good looking shoes. You get the ruggedness of a hiker and the comfort of an athletic shoe.

These are wonderful in style, great fit, and very comfortable. From a few treks through small streams, mud puddles, and wet grass, they seem to be waterproof as promised. My only complaint is that the "breathable" part of the shoes around the toes is very crinkly, sounding like you've got some cellophane stuffed into your shoes. I'm hoping that noise goes away after they're really broken in.

Perfect fit, comfortable, sturdy. I usually order a wide to give my toes room but the medium is fine. Good arch support but not aggressive. Very happy I purchased these.

I love the Columbia shoes. Fits perfect right out of the box and no break-in period.They are true slip resistant, water proof.I wore these at work in The garden center, I care for the plants that the nurseries bring..., the floors are always wet in the morning from watering, the shoes stayed dry even though watering gets messy at times. I haven't slipped once., the Colubia shoes have good traction, nice cushion and if you have your own orthotics, the insoles come out, so, you can replace them.I wear a size 9M in sneakers, driving mocs, saddles, some boots while New Balance I wear a 9.5M ( medium width).I will keep buying these shoes as long as they are available. I recommend 100%Update: 8/14/2023These are not made for concrete walking or standing all day.I have foot pain and no orthotic, insole will help. The balls of my feet ( metatarsal) ach with every step to the point of limping and toes are numb.It is great wearing on other surfaces, but not concrete.I'm still keeping them for my hikes and walks.

Bought these for a waterproof hiking shoe for Alaska. Super comfortable right out of the box. Did well most of the time. However, took a 5 mile hike with a bit of hilly terrain and @ about 2 1/2 to 3 miles I started to feel the shoes and my feet started to hurt by mile 4. Overall, very good shoe but not for moderate distances.

it is rare to get a hiking shoe that is comfortable for the first mile, and this one is. I am sometimes size 9 and sometimes 9.5 and it was correct to get the bigger size. Haven't been in the wet yet so can't say if they really are waterproof.

I ordered these for an Alaskan cruise. I needed them to be waterproof and comfortable for light hiking and other excursions. I can't attest to whether they are waterproof yet as my trip is coming up soon. However, they were comfortable right out of the box.
