Another quality Kong product
Another quality product from the Kong brand. This ball instantly became our dog’s (pitbull mix) favorite we toy. This was the perfect sized ball for our dog, because it is too large to get lodged in his throat, which is always our worry with all ball toys.

My dog is ecstatic over her new ball
My Great Dane loves balls more than any other toy. However, she's a major chewer and therefore, I've learned the hard way that if it isn't Kong brand, she'll have it shredded in under 5 minutes or less no matter what it is lol This ball is of durable tire-rubber that she is in love with. It has great bounce, too! Another pro (that is a requirement for any balls I buy her) is the hole through the middle - many use this for treats like peanut butter but for me, it's crucial in the event she accidentally chokes, there is a hole for air to buy time in an emergency. Worth every penny for the durability guaranteed of Kong. She loves to chew it just like with her red chew kong, which is great for their teeth, jaw and mind. The only negatives:- The smell is awful 😖 just like a tire; I washed it thoroughly before giving to her, which helped a little but if she hadn't already seen it, I'd have aired it out for a week or so before giving her, which I'll 100% do with her next one- The black color is really difficult to see; wish I could get it in red or green, blue, pink or purple***Thank you Kong for another quality product of durability for my budget and happiness for my girl ♡

Excellent quality
Kong is the best, especially with a very large dog that rips any other toy apart. He is just under 100 lbs. We had one before but it got lost. He is thrilled to have his ball back!!

Tough Toy
German shepherd, aggressive chewer, and he regularly destroys any soft toys. His only toys are a six-inch hollow femur bone and a large nylabone which he chewed away the "knuckle" on one end (only took him 3 years)The Kong Ball is his new favorite toy. Stuff it with peanut butter, roll it on the floor, and the dog goes silent while working on the toy. After a few weeks of ignoring the nylabone, we finally replaced it with a new one. He hasn't played with the nylabone, since he really prefers the Kong. When he goes to grab his toy, he ends up flinging it about half the time. The Kong ball rolls (remember, his other toys didn't roll), so this let him chase the ball around the house and keep himself (and us) entertained.Other than a few dent marks, he hasn't been able to tear any part of the ball. This ball is definitely durable.Very much K9 approved.

Dogs love it!
My dogs like it. I like that it is hard enough to not be chewed up. Kind of expensive though.

Great for training my pup to chew on things that are his and not things that are mine
I bought a variety of toys for a rescue I adopted who was a puppy mill dog and never had the opportunity to play. I had it all planned out in my head which toys would be his favorite and how we would play/train with them together. Turns out I could have just saved my money and thrown a couple cardboard boxes in with him. I'm sure someday he'll get around to playing with this, but right now he just wants to sleep and chew on things that aren't his. :)I love Kong products though none of my dogs really seem to like them. I have a 10lb MinPin, a 60lb Chocolate Lab, and a 100lb Anatolian Shepherd and none of them have every played with these rubber-type toys unless I fill them with treats or peanut butter. Then they just destroy them into a million tiny pieces of rubber all over the living room floor. But I bought this despite all that because it gives me something to hand my pup when he's chewing on something that isn't his. I take that thing away and replace it with this and then use a little peanut butter to encourage him to chew this instead. It works great at distracting and deflecting. All of my dogs are aggressive chewers so I prefer the Extreme toys. And of course the price is so much cheaper here on Amazon versus my local big box pet store.PS - This things is really heavy. It turns out this is NOT a good ball for throwing indoors. While it does have "extreme bounce", that just means it's going to knock over whatever it bounces into with extreme force. We'll stick with using a regular tennis ball for our brief morning fetch sessions.
