Blue Diamond ET 100 Septic or Pond Linear Diaphragm Air Pump

It is very quiet , I bought the 100' sinkable hose and the bubble box in a kit. Also installed a small check valve at the bubble box so water doesn't backfill the hose when it's not running.Been running for about a month with no problemsMy pond is 3 acres but I installed it in about 6' deep , I also have it zip tied the bubble box to a 5 gallon bucket lid , and put some rocks in the bucket. So the bubble box is off the bottom and not sitting on the bottom of the pond.Someone recommended not putting it directly on the bottom of the pond because it will churn up too much mud. So far it working great.

The install was easy but after a couple weeks issues started. Got it hooked up using 100 feet of hose and it has over heated several times and now it won’t come back on. I contacted them about the issues I was having and they immediately knew what was wrong. Amazon is recommending the Rootscape Aerator which is not what goes with the ET 100. I spoke to Chris Duffee and he was very professional. He explained what I had to do to make it work again and the correct aerator for my setup. I ordered the DS2, installed it and I haven't had any issues at all. Call them if you have any questions. They will make sure you get what is needed for your application.

It says this ET 100 produces 3.53 cuft/min but either I have the wrong expectation of what that looks like, or it's not outputting nearly that much air. It's pretty loud, I am definitely glad this goes outside. I'm going to find another pump to compare, it just doesn't seem right. BTW the description lead me to believe it used a half-inch hose and the included fitting is actually three eighths.

The product came quickly and as described. I didn't get to try it out as we decided that it was a bit too much pump for our little pond and it was returned at no fault of the seller or the product itself. The return was hassle free.

We have a small Koi pond, and after 5 years of only using a waterfall to aerate the water have added this with the heavy hose to add additional air for the health of the fish. It sure does put out the bubbles. I drilled tiny holes in the hose and spaced them to get a nice even distribution of the air in the pond and disrupt the surface a bit to keep predators from seeing the fish.

i did a lot of research before i purchased this continuous duty air pump. this is exactly the ticket to aerate my 32,000 gal pond. the spec sheet told me what wanted to know to complete my selection. quiet efficient economical simple hook up. i am more than pleased.stevebremerton wa

I use this for aeration for a pond. We have it inside a pump room so noise is not an issue. It operates an aerator that is submerged approximately 5’ and it runs continuously. In the summer months it can overheat and cut itself off. Overall perfect for what it’s being used for. We contacted the manufacturer and they replaced the model with the solid top with one that was vented and that took care of the problem. The manufacturer was wonderful to work with and even gave us info on which aerator to purchase.

So loud I had to replace it. Tried everything to quiet it down without success.
