Reusable Organic Cotton Super Strength XL Grocery Bag

My requirements for a reusable grocery bag were: made of natural fiber, machine washability, ample volume, and some way to close it. I think these easily succeed on all counts.After the first wash, I've found virtually no shrinkage, no color bleeding, and no rust around the magnetic snap at the top. I used cold water and line dried them.Measurements are approximately 8" x 13" x 15", when opened for use. By comparison, a brown paper Whole Foods bag I measured is 7" x 12" x 16.5". In other words, this has about 13% more volume. But it seems like even more than that, when I placed a Whole Foods bag inside of it.The magnetic snap, at the top, seems reasonably secure, but you'll still want some way of keeping the bag upright. The handles are long enough that you can tie them, though they probably won't hold a square knot. The side pocket is handy for stashing a bottle (they'll probably even hold a wine bottle, though I haven't tried), but there's no way of securing it.The materials and construction both seem top notch, and I expect they'll last for years. In fact, if WFM keeps their 5 cent reusable bag credit, it's quite conceivable these will pay for themselves.

This bag is one of the nicest I have ever owned. And, I have used cloth bags for groceries since the mid 80s. It is well made, so I think it will last a long time. And, be able to carry heavy loads. Plus, the size is great. It will carry gallons of milk or a watermelon. Many are too narrow or flimsy. Update - The bag was so fabulous that I now own 6 of them, replacing my older bags.

I have been using canvas bags for my groceries for years. I like that I can load them up and have fewer albeit heavier bags. These are the best yet. If you have a problem with lifting a heavy bag it may not work for you since these hold quite a lot. They should also be great for other purposes such as a beach bag since they are large, sturdy and washable.

sturdy, functional, reasonable price

I love this shopping bag.I bought the bag after having a smaller one from the same company given to me as a gift several years ago. The original bag I have washed several times and it still holds up just like in the beginning. I have used my new large one and it’s larger and sturdy. I am very pleased with it’s ability to carry more groceries.I would definitely order more. I haven’t washed it yet so I didn’t add any stars for it yet but I will update in the future.

Excellent quality, washable, spacious shopping bag. I take it to the market for my fruits and vegetables.

Just big enough to easily hold 6 other standard shopping bags. Bought to carry heavier items and it fits that need perfectly, as handles and bottom are very sturdy. Recommend.
