Great first lego set! Comes with container for storage!
This a terrific first set of duplicate legos for your young toddler!! This was our first lego Duplo set that we purchased for our daughter when she was around 19 months. We have played with them almost every day for the past month and a half. Her favorite pieces to play with are definitely the little man, the dog, and the car. She will carry her lego man and dog around with her and enact scenes for them. She also loves to put them on the car and drive them around. She can build small, simple towers and has learned to ask for help if she gets frustrated. My favorite part about this set is that it comes with a sturdy, cute container that can hold significantly more legos than the set comes with making it possible to customize your lego collection with all of the fun smaller LEGO duplo sets out there and store them all in one place. This set has a great variety of colors and sizes including two window pieces, a car, a lego man, a dog, 3 flowers, and 6 blocks with numbers (1,2, and 3) and images (mouses, apples, and radio). I couldn’t be happier with the quality and quantity of pieces for the price. We later purchased the Lego Duplo heart box which added a lot more basic blocks and allowed us to build bigger houses. I highly recommend this for your builder!

One of the best toys available for babies and toddlers
This was the only toys I bought while pregnant. I'm not a fan of those plastic garbage toys that will be thrown out in a matter of time. Lovevery wooden toys feel way overpriced. This set was perfect in quality and creativity. My baby started to stare at them from birth. I used these to do tummy time and everything. At about 2 year old, my baby can finally stack them successfully without help and started to play with them daily. However, the current price over $70 is too much for this set. Definitely wait for a sale. I paid for about half of this. Inflation is horrible in the past two years.

These are the perfect size blocks for my 2
These are the perfect size blocks for my 2.5 yr old!!! The megabloks he used to play with aren't challenging enough & he constantly asks me to play with the "big boy" Legos (i.e. Traditional size Legos) but with his 8 month old brother crawling around I don't like the idea of a spare tiny block getting left out during this stage when everything goes straight into his mouth! So these Duplo blocks are a great compromise. The mid-size is more on par with my toddler's ever improving dexterity, but I don't have to be quite so anxious if one gets left out of the toy box bc they aren't swallowing size. This set provided lots of imaginative play and was a perfect addition to our growing set of Duplo trains, cars, etc. My son especially liked the little dog included in this set for some reason & spent an entire afternoon building him different dog houses.

Great for my three year old son
My son (three years old) has been playing with LEGO for almost as long as he's been alive... he didn't really have a choice since his daddy is a big fan of LEGO.Having said that, I was hesitant to purchase any DUPLO sets because I knew it would only be a matter of time before my son would grow out of them and then they would no longer be used. Reluctantly, my wife and I decided to purchase this set after seeing my son playing with a box of DUPLO bricks at his school.Long story short... the DUPLO bricks have been very good for my son as he's been able to build more easily, and he gets less frustrated when using these bricks (when compared to the smaller LEGO bricks). If you have a younger child and you're looking to develop a love for building and creativity, I don't think you can go wrong with this set.Overall, I give this set a strong recommendation as there's a wide range of DUPLO blocks that provide countless hours of enjoyment for your young bricker. If my review was helpful, please let me know below. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.Happy bricking!

You Get What You Pay For!
We bought these to replace some knock-off Duplos we were gifted and are so happy to have these!! Quality is great; they stick together, they pull apart, the little drawings are cute. My 1, 3, and 6 yr old children love playing with these and I love seeing what they create. I think this set specifically is a great mix of basic pieces but also great to have the wheels, windows, person, dog, etc. for more specific purposes.

A good starting point! But lacking.
If you haven't own any Duplo yet, this set is a good start, come with a human boy, a dog, a car base, windows, plants....etc.But can't help but feels lacking, so I ordered a third party produced base board, and another basic building set fromWalmart to add to the collection, and that's when the magical building process happens everyday. But the combination is quite costly. Well they are sturdy enough to be abused by my 2 years old, so if all the sets gonna last year of everyday play than I am satisfy.

Favorite toddler toy ever!
My son who just turned 2 loves these. He has always liked legos, but isn't old enough to put them together on his own, so I thought he might be ready for the Duplos. I was worried he wasn't old enough for them yet and thought of getting mega blocks instead. I am glad I didn't, because it didn't take him long to learn how to put the pieces together and he LOVES these. He plays with them more than he has ever played with anything, and they are so good for him.The storage box is nice, but smaller than I pictured. Even so the blocks only fill it up half way. However we also got the 70 piece Creative Building Box set, and the little Farm Animals set. Together they all fill the plastic bin clear to the top (but still able to close) and are the perfect amount to really get into some serious building fun. :)
