PetSafe Magnetic Key for Cat Flaps, 2-Pack

Much cheaper than my door manufacturer's replacements (Solo Pet Doors). Works perfectly and not too heavy. I have the large door and a Dalmatian and Lab/Dachshund.

It is too small for my large dog to use unfortunately. It does work well to replace the magnet emergency stop to the treadmill that my toddler has hidden somewhere however, so there's that.

They work great. Only complaint is the magnet sticks to the coller ring and keeps it close to the cats neck and makes it harder to activate the cat door. But it works as advertised.

We just bought extra of these to be safe just in case our cat managed to lose one. They're small and seem pretty sturdy. However, my cat has managed to chew the heck out of it despite how frequently we end up changing around how it hangs or attaches to his collar or how tight the collar is. But they seem very sturdy. Just a lot of teeth marks. Not great for his teeth, but the magnets are doing the trick. We have them hanging on our refrigerator until the time comes and we need them.

I know I'm not the only one who made this mistake, because next to the PetSafe microchip-reading rfid cat door on Amazon is this item, "frequently purchased together". I didn't see any other collar attachments so I ordered it because I have one cat with an incompatible microchip for the PetSafe microchip/rfid door. Well, it doesn't work. The only RFID collar attachment I could find was a 3rd party one. I'm considering buying a few microchips and just injecting an extra into my incompatible cat.

Awsome. Durable. Great price. I have a SOLO Pet Door and have struggled for 12 years with those red sensors that break and are poorly made at twice the cost. These look better, nice appearance, lighter weight, way more durable. Don't pull apart at the wire where goes on collar. Work perfect. Impressive. Faster delivery than stated....came in about 2 weeks...worth the wait. Finally hsve a good sensor for my dog door. Can't say enough good!

Works perfect with my Solo pet door with my 80 lb Pitbull…Not sure what the pet’s weight has to do with the size of the magnet… works with my 5 lb Chihuahua and also my 80 lb Pit

I6t works great for my dog to use their doggy door.

These work great and keep the raccoons out, too!

This is a really good product to let your own cat in whilst keeping others out. However, be vigilant - as it's a magnet, your cat may 'collect' small metal objects whilst out and about as well as in your home or even stick to metal furniture. It's easy for him / her to pull away from furniture but do check for small clips, pins, etc. from time to time. One of my cats has been walking around with a fork dangling from his magnet.
