Nice prefilter
I filter ALL my water. And although I haven’t used this yet (no need for tap water), I do believe it will do nicely once camping season hits. I was impressed that ut comes with little disposable cotton disks and I’m hoping I can instead use DIY cotton makeup pads in a pinch. Very light, but a little bulky - worth it.

Don't keep it submerged
The taste and quality of the filtered water is a bit better than store bought gallon jugs of water. Even from junk water source.. although, don't keep this part of it submerged if you have a still water system.. like a 55 gallon barrel of unfiltered water. The filter will fail withing a week.

Worth the money!
Both the pump and extra filter are small, easy to us and fit perfectly in a backpack without taking up too much room or being heavy. I searched all the different pumps/filters and I'm glad I bought this one!

Quality for Size and Weight
Very small box it came in which is perfect for my bug out bag! Trying to use minimal space and weight, but need have everything needed for a survival situation. Very happy with the quality of this purchase!
