Just got back from a four day trip and this bag was perfect! In true timbuk2 fashion it’s a tough, well built bag that will last for years

I love this bag. I purchased it to use for an upcoming trip. I chose the medium size bag after checking the volume (48L) on the Timbuk2 website. The bag has two side pockets, an outer top pocket, and two inside mesh zip pockets on the lid of the bag as well.The top outside pocket fits my 10" tablet in its case, as well as a notebook and pen. The bigger side pocket fits my shoes, a women's size 8.5/39, and the smaller side pocket is good for smaller items like snacks or a camera.Like most Timbuk2 bags the fabric is a water resistant material which isn't mentioned in the des. The straps are adjustable and the cross-body strap is removable. The top handles can be used as back straps as well, while they aren't the most comfortable, especially if the bag is packed full and heavy, but good for hands free travel, and could be made more comfortable with strap covers.I was able to fit all of my clothes for a 12 day trip as well as my toiletry bag, towels, and 2 pairs of shoes.

Great travel bag! I bought this bag to replace my gym bag. I love all the pockets and the separate pocket for your shoes. It is a little small to fit shoes though, I really have to squeeze them in there but it works. I've also used this as a small weekend getaway bag and it works great. It fits a lot more than you think it would and fits perfectly in an overheard compartment when flying. I would recommend this bag.

There are many good features about this bag. It will fit under most airline seats in case there's no open overhead space. It's really light. It has many carry options. I really wanted to keep this bag.However, the shoe pocket in the small size bag is just too small to be of any use except for sandals or children's shoes. The pocket is only about 4 inches deep. I don't always travel with extra shoes but when I do I like having a separate pocket for those filthy beasts.Suggestion: Make the shoe pocket larger so it's useful and let me decide when or if I'm going to use it.Conclusion: If a separate storage pocket for dirty items is important then this is not the bag for you. If not, then it's a good value. Unfortunately, I'm returning this bag.

The material has the consistency of a thick wrapping paper and makes more noise than a 4 year old wearing corduroy pants. The size for a large borders on awkward to carry and too big for many travel situations (can't bring on a plane, etc). I would not recommend it to others, but for the price I guess it's OK.

I picked this based on other web reviews and I love it! It's functional, light and perfect for a weekend getaway. It feels larger than I expected--probably because it's top loading (which I love). Great bag--well worth it.

Great bag! But the body strap is COMPLETE crap!

Large size is perfect for everything you could want to bring. I am in college and when I come home I can fit text books, my clothes, tennis racket, extra pair of shoes and anything else I need.
