Perfect fit for half the price
When the sider arm cracked on our Samsung washer I was hesitant to purchase an after market part especially with the amount of work required to change this part but it exceeded my expectations. This part was a perfect fit at half the cost of the EM part from Samsung and this part included the 6 hex mounting bolts which cost ~$9 each from Samsung. You will need these new hex bolts as inevitably you will break one or more taking them out. The arm and bolts are made of deferent metals which causes the bolts and arm to seize together. I was able to save 5 of the 6 bolts but replaced them all with the new bolts included with this part. Replacing this arm pretty much requires completely disassembling the washer. Having a service technician perform the work would probably cost as much as replacing the who washer with a new one. There are great YouTube videos available that walk you through the whole process of replacing this arm so if you are handy and have about 4-6 hours available I highly recommend getting this part and doing the work yourself.

Fantastic product that solved our issue.
Our washer had started to make a large banging noise, the washer shook violently when rinsing, and was pretty much unusable. After a lot of research, we determined that the flange shaft assembly was most likely the culprit. After getting the washer apart and getting to the back of the drum where the arm is located, our research had paid off and that part had indeed failed, or more accurately had disintigrated. You can see in the photos the before and after what I'm referring to.Once the unit was reassembled and tested, it worked like new. If you're mechanically inclined this a fairly easy job and there are quite a few videos on Youtube that can help guide you if needed. Overall I'm very pleased with the product!

Item is cheap and wouldn’t recommend at all.
Product was poorly made. When received, item had small crack and seemed to have been grinned on the edges making the thickness of metal very thin. Cheap product for the same price as others. Would like a refund. Guess I have to settle with what I got don’t have the time to be sending items back when it should have been right the 1st time. Product might last a couple months, if that. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

The shaft was machined properly but Xike bearings are way to tight a fit
So after bad mouthing this seller for this part, I apologize. The Xike bearings also sold by Amazon are way to tight a fit for the shaft. I bought some SRS bearings I had used before and while they are tight, they will slide on smooth after lubrication. The Xike bearings even after lube are still way to tight. The shaft should slide into this bearing during reassembly, if it does not it creates lots of problems. So to be clear, the part is okay, the Xike bearings sold by another seller could work but they will not slide together as smoothly as they should. I learned all this after ordering 3 shafts and 2 sets of bearings. Maybe these sellers should start recommending compatible parts as I had to spend considerable time, effort and money to learn this.I will note the Xike bearings fit the original part okay, but that part is questionable, hence my need to replace the flange.I hope the seller accepts my apology.

Still die cast?
Replacing this spider arm was a very in-depth project, that took several hours. The disappointment with the design is that this same die-cast part will fail again eventually. When removing the old spider arm it was obvious that this die-cast part had disintegrated and looked like grey sand being washed down into the filter during the rinse-spin cycle. It’s engineered to fail like so many appliances today.I remember when appliances lasted for decades and were usually replaced because the color scheme had gone way out of style, not because they were designed to fail.
