Value, convenience.
After using up a 5pack of same gauge strings from a well known brand I decided to try this 12 pack since I insist on using 10ga and knowing that breakage is expected. The sound is just as good as the mentioned strings and they also last as long. I don't know of a brand that lasts longer with heavy use. Yes, it's extremely annoying to break a string, any string, but does anybody know of a brand that is nearly indestructible? If so say so or hold your peace. I will stick to these. I already broke 3 of them but like I said, I expected it. I'm not sure if going up a gauge would result in lesser breakage. I welcome suggestions from fellow guitar aficionados. Rock on.

I bought this pack for my son. They seem to be holding up pretty well.

Great service and excellent packaging
Great value for the money and I am sure they will do just fine. I haven’t used one yet but will when my next string breaks. I have lots of guitars and on 9 of them I altered the saddle where I grinder it to give my guitar better functionality. I was breaking a lot of strings but the performance now is incredible. I also grinder better saddles to correct the issue and as my strings will break I will put the new saddle on modified with one of these strings and will write a separate review on how well they perform. I did receive these super fast and a day early. Update I just used my first one and the quality is just as great as Ernie Ball GHS or any other brand out there. I have played for 45 years now and have a great sense of feel for great strings. It may take me a long time to need more but I will buy these from now on.

Worst Strings in the world.
Epic 12 pack single electric guitar string 10 gauge. When you break a guitar string you have to replace it. If the set of strings are relative new and you are not about the play a big job, you don’t need to replace the whole set of strings. Because you choke or bend the first, second and third string to get a sound you want, those are the strings that generally break. If you take a string out of a set you just paid $8.00 for, you can hope that you will brake one of the other strings and you will have a spare but things don’t generally work out that way. Before long you turn up with a lot of sets of strings all missing the same string.Solution, by a dozen for the strings you break most so I did. I put on one string and tighten it up, pulled on it to get the slack out and it popped. I did it again and didn’t pull so hard and it popped. Three more times I replaced the string and you could barely get it to pitch before it popped. I have played guitars and banjos for over 50 years and I have never seen strings pop like these. Five string in a row, finally I open a new complete set of Ernie Ball strings and the guitar plays fine. It’s just a Fender Stratocaster, nothing special, the bridge saddle is fine. These are the worst strings I have ever seen.

Never Too Proud To deny we all sometimes break the first string
Being unwound, the proper gauge will match any electric guitar string set. You won’t notice the difference. Embarrassing to break a new string but no one is perfect! I haven’t broken a string, setting up a floating tremolo bridge in many years. It happens to everyone sometimes. Drop your pride and get a set of these for every guage set! Surely, this is the clear alternative over replacing an entire new set of strings while losing patience tuning and adjusting a Floyd rose bridge. Or, I hear new guitarists break strings a lot and that’s ok as long as they recognize what they are doing to break them (over winding)
