This unit has a solid aluminum housing and is overall well constructed. The head light provides more than adequate light, but if you do a lot of night riding you are going to want a brighter rear light. (try the Bontrager Flare 1 which is clearly visible even in day light) The user manual leaves a lot to be desired: it states the taillight is rechargeable -- this is incorrect, although it comes with 5 extra button batteries. The mounting instructions for the headlight bracket fail to note that it has two gaskets -- one for smaller diameter handle bars and one for larger. for most bikes you have to remove the larger gasket. When I first tried to mount it I was going "WTF this thing does not fit." But then noticed that there were two gasket and simply removed the larger one and it was good to go.This is an update to my earlier review. After using it a couple of weeks two issues arose that caused me to return the unit. First, the light that indicates the charging mode (red for charging -- green for fully charged) failed. Second, the mounting hardware for the light turned out to be poorly designed. For horizontal adjustment it has a ratcheting feature which has too much play in it. As a result, the slightest jar or bump will throw it off its original aim point. As a consequence of these issues, I reduced my rating to three stars.

This is one of the most interesting bike lights I've ever seen and works very well. Mount is easy to install and is very secure with the massive clamp. I like the different brightness levels, but the biggest advantage for me is that it has not only two brightness levels on the same led, but different LED's, which make the light much better quality. It might be hard to see for some people, but I have usually some problems with other dimmable LED lights, because on low power they start to flicker, but because there are different LED's this won't happen here. For me that's a huge relief for my eyes and of course a big advantage with the two additional lights which I can point down on the ground while keeping the main beam straight. Also great for my hiking tours. Back light also works good, but is not rechargeable.

Ok, so this looks like a great bike light. Adjustable lens and can rotate the side lights...Had a small issue with one of the back lights but i just loosened it and worked.That being said, I don't have to yell at my 10 year old anymore. He has his headphones on on his computer video game and I always had to shout. Most times he couldn't hear.Now I just shine this at him or hit the strobe light. Instant reaction. Use this to parent your kids. Better than yelling at them. It really gets their attention quick and save you stress. Happy parenting.

It comes nicely packaged in a box. Not that I'll need that very long. And the little side lights are adjustable. So you can light up the ground in front of you. Seems legit. For the tail light The battery for that is not rechargeable and runs on a stack of CR 2032. But the housing seems machined out of aluminum with a rubber strap.

Overall a very good product that could use a few minor improvements to make it outstanding. The light brightness is outstanding. It has a very white light that spans widely and also way out in front of you. As a result, you can see the hazards near you as your ride and also way ahead in the trail. I have also been very impressed with the battery life for a light that is so bright. Excellent battery life. I like it.

Great product, very very bright and easy to install. Quality light system. Looks great. The rear red light is also bright and I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Going to buy 2 more. Highly recommend this light.

Very bright! Drivers can see you from blocks away! Rode my bike in the rain and both are still working perfectly fine. I would highly recommend this to any cyclist. If you also ride bus transportation the light stays tight even on express buses on the freeway. It stays tight going sixty plus MPH.

This is the best flashlight I ever got. I can adjust the light in three different directions at the same time and also has a red back light there is a very easy manual book and plenty of battery for the red lightThe way it was constructed I am sure it would last me forever
