Electric Copper Core Flexible Silicone Wire Cable Red (22AWG 40KV) (2M)

I recently did some major repairs on a fellow ham's AL-80A RF linear amplifier and needed some high voltage wire. The operating voltage is 3100 volts DC. This wire is nicely flexible, almost limp, solders well, and has no melting or degradation from the soldering process. No difficulties were encountered in operation. It seems like good wire and I'd buy it again.

I made a Lichtenberg wood burning system from an old microwave over. This wire was ideal for carrying the high voltage to the burning points. Easy to work with.

It did the job and was nicely more flexible than the original.
