Amazonia London 2-Piece Certified Teak Patio Folding Armchair

I ordered very similar chairs from Amazonia 5 years ago and they have held up well and have “silvered” nicely with age and exposure to the elements here in Maine. We keep them outside for all but the snowiest months (January-March) and we have no complaints. Great performance. Every once in a while we tighten up the hardware. We wanted to get more of the same but Amazonia was out of stock so we are trying out this new version with arms. They fold up easily. And best of all no assembly required! One issue was that the rear cross bar arrived cracked. See photo but a little wood glue seems to have fixed that issue at least for now. Packaging in minimal just chairs in a cardboard box 📦 So one suggestion would be to protect the chairs better during shipping.

I purchased these chairs last November and basically put them in Winter storage. Early on I found on this one particular chair that it was very difficult to open, so just chose one of the other chairs figuring it just needed to break in. Last week I pulled all the chairs out for a dinner party and in trying again to open this chair, found it impossible even with a slightly firmer push. to my surprise I found upon inspection that the leg was fractured, and in disassembling the leg found the metal pin, that should glide through the grove in the leg does not glide, simply does not even move within the slot. The grove was machined out too small for the pin. The rest of the other 7 chairs are fine. This is differently a manufacturing defect, and am hoping I can get some satisfaction from the manufacturer. Solid, sturdy, and as comfortable as they look (which means ok for 15 minutes or so). We’ll probably get cushions. Probably not a great fit for larger folks, but perfect for a small porch, and much cheaper than pottery barn.

assembly was a bit loose, but after tightening the screws its good. A bit narrow, but mostly ok for most people to comfortably sit in. I am satisfied.

These chairs are too small for adults. I am 4 11 and weigh 160 and I can barely sit in them

I am very happy with these chairs.I did have to tighten up the screws on two of the chairs, or they would have been wobbly. That is why I only gave 4 stars instead of 5. The chairs were probably tight when shipped, but as the wood dried out they loosened up.No problem! After a quick tighten, they are sturdy, and look great!I am very happy with this purchase!

this chairs are totally worthless!! the sturdiness is a joke!! I bought 4 and one of them came broken!! this is not a good product!! and the value for money is zero!!! the problem is I do not live in the Usa! therefore its impossible to send back!

Ordered this pair of chairs, got only 1 in box shipped. Took the normally daunting challenge of getting someone from Amazon on a phone call but when I did, he resolved the issue quickly. It was a little wierd that I had to box the 1 chair back up for pickup so they could send me 2 fresh ones but oh well. Anyhow, the chairs seems sturdy, are more comfortable than then you might think and seem like a fair value. I would buy them again.
