I bought this for my (then) 9 year old son. He has been using it daily for over a year with no problems. You can set your iPhone on top of the speaker and it actually charges the phone while it's playing music. It's water resistant and has held up to a 9 year old boy bringing it on his 4 - wheeler, in his backpack and to hockey practice weekly. Great product would highly recommend.

We love this speaker! Bought this for my husband as a birthday gift after he wore the first one out after 9 years. The sound quality is amazing and the battery life is excellent! We've been able to get 3 days out of it with consistent use before we have to charge it. Highly recommend this speaker

I bought this as an all around speaker for bluetooth applications. The onboard power pack for charging a phone is a nice addition, however I was really hoping this would function as amplification for a small guitar effects unit utilizing the aux input. There is a noticable delay (about 50ms) between anything that happens on the guitar and what this unit broadcasts. I have a $30 bluetooth speaker that has no delay, and it is the only reason this Altec Lansing product got four stars instead of five. The sound it produces is better suited for music media and not my guitar. I have a tube half stack that my ears are accustomed to so that influences my opinion. The delay makes me dislike playing guitar through it. The connectivity with my phone is spot on. It will connect from another room through an interior wall very easily. The speaker is also loud enough to enjoy outside. I would recommend this to a friend.

Great aux speaker for around the deck or golf cart

Sounded great for the first couple hour but as soon as you max volume, just ruins everything. Now can’t even go pass mid-volume without it sounding like complete garbage. Don’t get it waste of money for price range.

Music on the go. Light weight with a deep quality sound. I take it all over. Favorite place is the pool. Plenty loud to annoy everyone if so inclined. Long lasting charge for over night trips. I love it. Thank you

Does a good job for its size, paid $79. I thought it would be a good upgrade from the Ecoxgear I bought from Costco for $49. They both are pretty much the same in quality of sound, and volume.
