Tea professional’s teapot 160cc/ml - Houhin white porcelain

The photo shows a ceramic strainer but I received a houhin with a wire mesh strainer, which is NOT what I wanted. In addition, the 160 ml size allows me to pour 160 ml of hot water into it, but if I add tea leaves first I can get about 100 ml of tea out! That is not what I had expected either!The two stars are because it arrived two days before the start of the promised delivery window (in fact, it took the USPS 7 days to deliver it from LA to central AZ, which is not the fault of the seller)!

This is a beautiful little teapot. Excellent for one (maybe two people). This pot is hard to find but comes in two styles apparently. I had one that was all porcelain. The lid broke and so I was happy when I found this item for sale here (the only place I could still find it). The photos for this item show a NON-steel mesh type like the one I already have, however, the description says "mesh type". I attempted to confirm which type this was and did not get a response. I took my chances and received one with a mesh strainer. So i guess the written description rules.The difference is the mesh teapot has a small nub inside on the bottom centre so that a steel mesh strainer can be wedged over the holes in the ceramic wall that lead to the spout.Not a huge deal, i guess. If you remove the mesh, the only difference is the raised ceramic nub on the inside floor of the pot. Just a little more difficult to clean.Was annoyed at the lack of clarity and lack of response but happy to find it.
