Weatherbee Clear Recipe Card Protectors, 4-Inches x 6-Inches, Set of 24

This is about the 4th time I have ordered this Weatherbee brand of recipe card protectors. I have always liked this brand and even recommended them to others because the card has previously exactly fit in the protector. I ordered and received my last order in March this year. I know the deadline has passed to return them, but I didn't open them to use until this week when I discovered the protectors are not the same size to fit the cards as well as in the past. What has happened? When you put the card in the sleeve, the clear sleeve stands up about a fourth of an inch above all the other cards and hides the card guides in the box and also looks terrible. They must be manufactured by a different company. If you review my order, you can see I ordered both the 3x5 and 4x6 sizes in this same order and would like a refund on both, please. I am very disappointed in them this time and will never use them. Please respond.

In terms of price, these recipe card protectors really can't be beat. As mentioned in other reviews, the quality is a little lightweight, but thus far, I've not had any of them split or rip.I despise the plastic envelope in which they come...I've had these things spill all over creation more than I can count. Several years ago, my mother would get recipe card protectors from Current, and they came in a heavy-duty paper envelope with a closing flap. The unused protectors stayed put. Not so with this pack.But, I'm more than happy to put up with having the protectors falling out to save some money.

I purchased this item for the first time. I did not know that they existed. I am pleased with the purchase.

Just what the wife was looking for ... worked great at a very reasonable price ... ordered second set.

A bit lightweight but I think they will hold up. Since they are lighter weight they will take up less space in the recipe box than something that is thicker!These are a great idea. My current recipe cards are a MESS! I will be re-writing them on new cards, a few at a time. I am a messy cook, so I have high hopes that these protectors will keep my cards from being such a mess!

Product size is not 4 x 6 so my 4 x 6 recipe cards do not fit in the sleeve. I measured it and the actual measurement is 5 5/8" x 4 3/8", wide enough but not long enough. Very disappointed.
