Amazing little book!
It's definitely for older kids, but I'm going to start reading it to my soon to be 4 year old. Well illustrated and well written. It covers a lot in an easy to read way. I got it before Amazon eventually takes it down, like they have with other vaccine content. Maybe they won't, hopefully, because there are two sides to EVERY debate. Doesn't it make you wonder why EVERYTHING can be questioned and researched...except vaccines? Why manufacturers for ANYTHING have liability...except vaccines? Why people only seem to truly fear the diseases we have vaccines for? Which is absolutely miniscule compared to the amount of diseases that exist. Start questioning! Start reading! I'm not telling you to become an antivaxer, just start looking into it. There's more to this subject than you've been led to believe. If ANYTHING provaxers, please just understand that vaccine injury is REAL, and we just want true informed consent and bodily sovereignty. This book would honestly even be good for adults just starting to research. Heck, buy it for your friend that doesn't vaccinate, just read it before giving it to them. I may be ordering more to give to family and friends with kids. It makes me really happy to see a book about vaccines that's not just for adults.

Not for kids, but informative
What I was hoping for: a children’s book to teach children and help them understand (on a child’s level!) our medical freedoms, why individuals may choose not to vaccinate and a what a trip to the doctor could look like with our right to choose. It had great potential, but significantly fell short as an advertised children’s book. As I read it, I found it scary and overwhelming and shaming to others who may believe differently. The point of medical freedom is that we have the right to choose what is best for our own bodies without being told. While reading, I also thought it might be a helpful book to give another adult who is asking questions (since it is DEFINITELY on an adult level), but there are no sources cited, making it basically just an opinion piece which won’t help anyone who is searching for answers. I gave 4 stars bc I think it can still be a valuable resource, but not for kids.

Great book, appropriate for ALL AGES!
What a great book to educate children on actual facts to incite in them a passion for seeking truth, self empowerment and advocating for themselves confidently. My daughter and I read MANY self empowerment, body boundaries, empathy and body awareness books. She is 6 years old and she LOVES this book, it is currently one of her favorites. The words in the story have a rhyming flow to it, which makes it fun to read & keeps your child interested in what is being said. The pictures are pleasant to look at and the artist did well at capturing the emotion & feelings of what is being conveyed. I am confused about the negative reviews for this book; the price is affordable and fair, the pictures are done really well, the story flows nicely, like a song and the topics are all really important subjects: family, feeling supported, informed consent, medical freedom, self empowerment, bodily autonomy, advocacy, truth, seeking knowledge and standing up for yourself.I love it! Thank you to the author(s)!

Would buy again
As an adult, being familiar with the different adverse reactions, ingredients, and talking points (e.g parental rights, bodily autonomy, holistic lifestyle) that were touched upon in this book, I really enjoyed it. There wasn't anything that I found myself disagreeing with. It was simple, factual, relevant. That being said, I'm not exactly sure what age group it's best suited for. They use real medical terms (e.g thrombocytopenia, intussusception); it's not as watered down as I would have expected. The authors recommend it for children 7 and up. Depending on what you've already taught your children about this subject, by that age, you will have more or less to explain. I wouldn't necessarily introduce them to the subject with this book, but it would make a great addition to the overall conversation. As your child gets older, they will come to understand and appreciate this book more.

cute And vac insert summed up
Absolutely love it. I did see a review talking about the book not citing sources but at the beginning it states vaccine inserts were the source. Which is true because the info the book goes over, I have read ON THE MANUFACTURERS INSERTS!! So it’s very truthful and the character telling the info does say it gets the info from the manufacturer themselves which again pointing to the inserts. Also on the page I added as a picture it says that people make their own choices which I LOVED!! Everyone can learn what they want to learn and open their eyes to what they want to believe and make their own decision for their family. The page says “no need to argue or fight.” It’s just all around awesome to read! Only thing was there were words so big that I couldn’t pronounce them haha

Not exactly for the whole family
I primarily purchased this for my five-year-old, to help teach her about why we don't vaccinate (and how to respond if someone pressures her). The book is well written and it's fun how the writer was able to craft everything into a rhyme. However, the level of information (reading skills and pronouncing these words) is well beyond what young children can realistically handle. It's a LOT of technical information - all the stuff that we parents have researched and learned, and all the true reasons that we don't want to vaccinate - but it's not as if we can expect a five year old to absorb all of this or repeat it in the event that someone tries to vaccinate them. What I'm going to do instead, is use this with my autistic teens. It's actually a bit above their reading level, too, but I think enough will sink in that they'll understand why it is important for them to decline vaccines. (this has been a concern since many states are passing laws allowing doctors to vaccinate without parental consent - even teens and young adults with developmental disorders who don't understand enough to consent)I still need a book that explains things in more simple terms, and teaches my daughter a realistic response. The book is well written and fun, but you're better off sharing it with your pro-vax adult friends. LOL

Not suitable for children
I was excited to find this book so ordered 2 copies. Was completely shocked & disappointed when I opened it. Definitely not suitable for all ages & definitely not child friendly. I don’t know what the author was thinking. Such a good opportunity missed. I’d recommend for 12+ yrs and even at that, I wouldn’t be using this book. Both going back.

Great book
Lovely book, love the diversity and the info, a little too complex for young children which requires a lot of explaining on meanings, but worth it.

Great!
I have seen this book read online and wasn't sure about sharing it with my kids, but it was actually great! I wasn't sure because we don't go for checkups and I was worried it would be a bit much for them, but really I just explained that some kids do go for checkups, and I answered questions simply and factually, and it was all good. I read it to my 7yo and 4yo. Just right, IMO.Take it slow, find the rhythm. There were lots of good discussion points along the way.

Fantastic book highlighting the importance of informed consent
Clever wordplay includes adverse reactions and explains to kids that as with any medical treatment vaccines can be declined. I also enjoyed the text explaining the role of sanitation and good hygiene. Thanks for publishing this!
