Clarks Women's Orinoco Jazz Ankle Riding Boots

These boots were described as new, on receipt they were clearly well used with damage to the uppers, worn heels & even mud on the sole, absolutely disgusting condition!

Beautiful leather boot. Fits a little snug. I have a high arch and had a hard time putting my foot in boot. Once I zipped the boot up it was tight around my arch. Maybe once wearing them a few times leather will stretch.On side note- Amazon sent me used shoes. The boots had clearly been tried on and worn once. called customer service and it was some what resolved, but doesnt change the fact that I had to clean and sanitize boots that were supposed to be “new”.

These boots are comfy and warm, definitely going to wear these for years to come.I got the 6.5, with allowance for thick socks etc. However they are small in the calf. My calves measure about 14" around (which I didn't think was very large) and it was a real struggle to do them up!I've polished them with some beeswax to soften them and they are gradually stretching but it's a slow process.

I chose these boots as I know Clarks do half-sizes (many companies don't). I wanted leather boots, which these are, so that they would last. The problem I usually have with longer length boots is that they are 'baggy' around my legs and I feel like I'm wearing wellies! Some of the reviews for these had said they were 'slim' in the leg, so I took a chance. I was delighted when they arrived, fit beautifully! I'm by no way a 'skinny' person (size 12/14, 5'8" tall), and the fit around my leg is nice, but I wouldn't say it was tight at all. The boots are furry lined and warm and sturdy. Just what I wanted. The bonus being that I got these for much less cost than I would have paid on the highstreet. Very happy bunny!

Why oh why are knee boots so narrow in the legs these days. I only measure 37 cm at widest point on my calf (really not that big) but I could only get the zip done up half way. I bought a pair of brown knee boots last year and they fit my legs perfectly even over thick tights or leggings.so I know it isn't just me. The boots are good quality (what you would expect from Clarks) and these would have been great as my new snugly black boots but, sadly they had to be returned.

First the good things - excellent quality, sturdy, look great. However, none of the picture indicate the thick fur lining and they are somewhat smaller than normal Clark boots (maybe because of the fur?) which make them too small for me. Shame, as I love them! So the three starts is not a reflection on the quality whatsoever, simply on sizing and not having indicated the thick fur.... which makes them brilliant winter boots but unsuitable for autumn or spring

Great boots. Saw these in Clark’s, completely sold out in every size apart from a three!! Lady in Clark’s suggested I try Amazon. Cheaper too! Very rarely do I see a boot or shoe that I really like. But I HAD to have these!! Normally I’m a 7 or 8, but managed to get a 7.5. I can’t do an 8. It’s a mind thing!! Chunky biker boots. The buckle across the foot undoes, so can be loosened which is a bonus. They are quite generous around the top, but that doesn’t bother me. I read some reviews where they haven’t fitted. I’m 5ft 8” with slim legs from the knee down, the height is great too. Textured leather, so not pristine in appearance which is great! Fur lined isn’t too thick; so when ordering I’d recommend going for your size and maybe another half size up. I never buy black boots, but these look really cool. Great with skinny jeans. The sole and heal are rubber. I’ve just had a similar pair reheeled, so no worries there. Looks like these will take forever to wear down. They are great quality. Can’t wait to wear them.

I ordered a pair of the Black(8) and Tan (7.5) as always inbetween sizes. 8 best fit. Lovely, lovely boots but look very carefully at the pic with zoom on inside leg to check seam a third of the way up on inside leg. Not the best of seams, more visible with the tan pair.
