Fiskars Amplify RazorEdge Fabric Shears (8 Inch)

The design of the handle is great. It allows for a good grasp and the blades lay flat on the fabric. Also very sharp and cuts well.

I bought these scissors, very specialized as they are, to trim my standard poodle. Over 20 years and four poodles, my wife and I have tried all manner of scissors; these are the ones that work, cut through tangles, cut the cottony hair ahead of the rear leg and the wiry hair on the back of the neck. Even when I do a little work on a dirty dog, they still stay sharp - although I don't trim dirty hair much. They are a little small for my adult male hands, but it is a problem only then I try to trim blades down, every other position is fine. What else is there to say? Fiskars makes cheap looking good quality scissors. The Amplify scissors, both edge types, are excellent.

Have tried a decent amount of scissors these are up there in my list. Cut smoothly, and are sharp. Handles are big enough. And more comfy than the gingers.Sharp and precise.

Excellent, precision build quality and pretty ambidextrous. It is likely the last pair of scissors that you will buy. I feel spoiled with these. I should name them something cutesy.

I have to hide these scissors from my family they are so good. Cuts like butter.

Super sharp and will fit my needs. Made in China, not Taiwan, product description needs to be updated. If you think I am splitting hairs, would you rather have a bicycle made in Taiwan or China? Taiwan’s manufacturing is far superior.

Bought these to cut my denim insulation-both 4” and 8” thick-and they work wonderfully!

FIskars remains a excellent quality for scisors

These are excellent scissors for sewing, quilting etc. They cut through the fabric like butter!Not too big, not too small, a very good size for all your needs!
