Great upgrade from the Pro 1000 you won’t be disappointed
I really like this loader! No issues! I unboxed it and set it up and started loading! The only complaint is the set up directions in my opinion are substandard! But that’s just me I’m sure! I popped on the YouTube and had it up and running in about 30 mins! I loaded up about 200 .40 S&W rounds and only had 2 screw ups, and that was only because the primers were backwards which is my bad for not paying attention when I loaded the primer feeder! Now I’ve had Lee products since I started reloading about a year ago! I started with the Lee Prob1000 and have successfully loaded over 10000 rounds of various calibers! The Pro is not great for bigger rounds like my 30-06 Springfield so I got a Lee single stage for my bigger rounds like 06, 450 Bushmaster etc.I upgraded to the loadmaster because I wanted to clear up space in my load area and the loadmaster is a progressive but the selling point for me was the idea that it can also be a single stage press! That clears up half of my work space! Now the primer feeder on my Pro 1000 was crap! So I actually got a Franklin Arsenal hand primer for all my rounds! Well with the load master I don’t need it! The primer feeder and seater is EXCELLENT on this press! The shell plates operation on the 1000 was very jerky and if I worked the press to fast it would cause powder spillage! The load master does not have this issue! Very smooth operation. The other upgrade I like a lot is the spent primer catch! The primers fall into the cavity of the press ram. So you don’t have a porn star appendage size tube hanging out of the bottom getting in the way of drawers or cupboards doors! I am by no means a professional loader, still in the infant stage I guess but I can’t see any reason anyone could come up with to complain about this press! I’m sure someone will but it won’t be me!With proper maintenance this thing will load thousands and thousands of rounds I’m sure!Update October 8th 2020I love this press! I just want to give a quick update on a problem I’ve discovered! I finished off 750 40 S&W round with only the 2 primer issues I mentioned in my initial review! I then switched over to loading 223! The problem I came across was with military grade cases! Milspec rounds primer pockets are crimped! I’m sure everyone knows that, but with this press you really need to do some extra pocket swaging? I had a couple hundred rounds that I had run through my Franklin Arsenal swager, that did not like my my primer feed! So I reswaged them in my RCBS swaging die, and had no more problems! I don’t know if it’s the press or the swagging tool! But I suggest if you have them Franklin swagger you get a perfect adjustment before you put them to the press! I’ve run another couple hundred rounds through my RCBS and will run them today!Rather then come back and update this again, I will only come back if I continue too have issues! If I don’t post any further on this it means the RCBS swager due tool is the way to go! Good luck everyone and God Bless ya all!

Good reloader, just learn to monitor every step, like with every other progressive loader.
As long as you keep your eyes on everything EVERY time you pull the handle, you will love this. I crank out more 9mms than I know what to do with now. A word of advise: if you get the auto bullet feeder with this, do NOT use it until you load several hundred rounds and are comfortable with watching everything else. The bullet feeder takes it over the top, meaning there is just too much going on to keep track of when you are new to this reloader.UPDATE: Now that I have loaded a couple thousands of rounds with this reloader (9mm .38sp .357Magnum), and figured out how to 1) set up 2) lubricate 3) monitor every step while loading, I've decided that I love this reloader. It is a very good product, and would buy it again.I also purchased the auto drum measure, because I thought is was an upgrade, but it's not, it's just different. Yes, you can micro adjust, but the inherent variations of auto measuring powder kind of defeats that purpose, at least for pistol, where you are loading 3-5gr. It may be more accurate for rifles, but I prefer to weight that anyway. The auto-disk measure that comes with the press set up for pistol calibers if far more consistent and reliable for me. I also take note of what disk and setting for each one of my loads, so testing the weight of powder change only takes me a couple minutes, and not 15 minutes fiddling with the adjustment key on the auto drum, and never getting consistent charges anyway.About all the negative reviews: I have read dozens of the negative reviews, and every single one of them can be fixed. You have to be very patient and meticulous when setting up initially and every time you set up for a new run. Lubing this press correctly with the right materials is essential. You have to use a grease on some parts, oil on others and dry-lube on the rest. When properly lubed, this press runs like silk. The only part of this press I dislike is the primer tray. I have two of them and they are both warped enough that some of the primers on the right hand side flip over. Both of my trays do the same thing in the same place, so it must be a bad design. Other than that, this thing works great. If you need help, call Lee, that guy the does the support is extremely knowledgable and helpful.

a must have if you hand load
Order arrived on first day of delivery date range. Shipped same day as ordered. Good packaging. EctThe press is amazing, and easy to put together. Comes with easy to follow instructions with pictures. Ideal for first press.Casing loader works for a wide range of case sizes. Easy and fast to adjust dispute looking complicated.Powder loader is idiot proof. This package is just a little more then a single stage press and worth every penny.Out of the box and loaded 300 rounds of 300 blackout (including sizing cases from 223 brass) took about 2 hour's. And this is the first press I have owned but not first press I have used. Instructions also include all part numbers if you break somethingDown sideinstructions say everything is hand tight. Don't follow that. Get a wreck and tighten everything to be snug but don't over do itThe chain for the powder loader is easy to break. I used 550 cord to replace mine.

Great for inexpensive mass production on a budget.
Make no mistake, this is not equivalent to a Dillon 650xl setup, but at 1/4 the price it works well. The case feeder is a little finicky to align and needs periodic adjustment (ad for the live of all that is holy DON'T FORCE IT or you'll be repairing the plastic feeder).Depending on caliber, the primer feeder can either work fairly well (say 90% success w/357 or 44m) or barely adequately (40S&W).I have added the optional bullet feeder, but once set up and dialed in I have managed runs of up to 300 consistent rounds/hour. Not too shabby.

Avoid seller CDSG ltd
lee precision load master is good ( I have buy it in France to another site and price is lower)I have fist buy two load master from CDSG.ltd , first they try to sent me another type of pressThen I have claim that I want loadmaster that I have ordered and they then ask me more money.avoid CDSG ltd, they are thief. they don't follow sales rules and they dont follow amazon rules.don't forget to lube your shell if not it will be nightmare. I was previously using carbide dies that are not existing in 223.enjoy reloading, it is very fun to have a 10 shot in 5 cents coin.

Loading Made Easy
I generally shoot a minimum of 400-500 rounds per month. I also own a Pro 1000 and an Auto-Turret. The Load Master is simply awesome. All steel, solid construction, and operates/indexes flawlessly. Mine was very easy to setup right out of the box. I just mounted it, set the dies, and I was loading in about 20 minutes. To load 500 rounds per hour, buy extra primer trays and the case collator. The extra primer trays will minimize slow downs when you've used the first 100 primers. The case collator makes it only take a minute to load the brass feeding tubes. Also think about adding another red bin (to the left of the Load Master) to keep bullets. That's the perfect spot if you want to hand feed them.
