Easy to set up and use right out of the box. Everything works great and if anybody claims they didn't get slides with this then they might have overlooked the bottom of the styrofoam packing because there were 100 slides taped to the bottom. I also ordered a smartphone adapter for making videos and that was a good addition. The included camera works well but make sure your laptop camera is also turned on. The ap was a bust and mine does not function at all despite many many attempts. Downloading the ap was a problem and it never worked at all. But other than that detail ( I've emailed Swift am waiting for assistance ) the microscope deal was worth the money and I'm very happy with it.

The microscope is OK for a student or just for fun, but this is the 2nd time I have purchased a microscope on Amazon and had to clean ALL of the lenses before I could use it. The camera only works at lower magnifications and I'm getting better pictures, literally, holding my camera up to the eyepiece. Unfortunately for me, my eyes can't see through the eyepieces so I was better off with my older, cheaper, microscope that I could attach my phone to. Final verdict - decent microscope if you have decent eyes (be prepared to clean all the lenses first) but a hard pass on the camera.

Using this with Pandia Press's Biology curriculum and it's wonderful and easy to use. Would appreciate a little more info on how to use the oil immersion, but it's perfect for middle school or high school biology microscope labs

It's binocular. 2 eyepieces 10X and 25 X. Good quality and the light illuminates the specimen well.

RECLAMO: el microscopio llego con un cable de camara errado, el objetivo de 40 y 100 x estan opacos, la luminucidad esta muy baja, quisiera una devolucion

Ha funcionado se maravilla. Se pueden ver un montón de cosas, gotas de agua muy pequeñas, detalles de insectos, en fin, de todo.

Bastante útil para investigación a nivel universitario, materiales de buena calidad enfoques finos, complementos como aceite de inmersión y laminillas tortas y cubres bastante bueno, se acopla bastante bien a sistema informático, las imágenes en la computadora son muy agradables, recomiendo ampliamente este producto. Lo uso para continuar mis investigaciones universitarios de biología en casa.

Recomiendo esta compra.
