The lamp is definitely easy to assemble. The power cord is already strung through the neck of the lamp so you don’t have to try to figure out what piece is first, etc. Just twist it together, no tools needed. It’s a much smaller lamp than I imagined but it does the job well. The lamp offers a variety of lighting choices - dim to bright, amberish to white. The remote is easy to use and now I can adjust the light or turn on/off when I’m sitting down - I don’t need to get up and go to the lamp to change settings. I bought it to use while working from home because I found that the overhead light in my ceiling fan had a short and kept turning on and off on its own. This was a simple solution for my current work situation and it’s bright enough that it’s actually much better than my overhead light. I love it for more than that though because of all of its features. It seems really sturdy so - the metal Is heavy and substantial, not cheap and light or easily damageable. The top of the neck is bendable so you can direct the light in any direction. It’s a good buy -go for it.

Floor lamp arrived earlier than expected, was easy to assemble, has numerous levels of brightness, works either by a convenient remote control or control on the lamp itself, is sturdy yet very sleek in design. We are using it as a reading lamp over our breakfast room table. Enormous help for aging eyes! It has been in operation for about five days and so far we couldn’t be more pleased. It’s really an electrical marvel at a very reasonable price. We give it five stars!

This lamp suits all of my needs. It’s bright but it is definitely not going to light up a whole room. This isn’t a lamp you are going to point towards the ceiling to have it reflect across a room. It’s more of a spot light than anything. It is best used to light a specific surface area like a desk or work table. For this purpose it far exceeds harsh light bulbs. This kind of light won’t diffuse far. I think that has more to do with the type of glare resistant light source it uses not this product itself. I’ve had other lights of this type (not sure what they’re called) and they had similar limitations. Just be aware of what you’re purchasing.PROs:-I love that you can adjust the brightness and color temp! The controls on the pole of the actual light do take a little time to figure out but I rarely use it since the remote is so handy.-I really love that it has a remote! You can either manually set the brightness and color temp or use one of the preset buttons. I like most of the presets available on the remote (night/timer, work, reading, computer, gaming, breastfeeding, and full light which is the highest brightness and color temp)-The power cord is a great length.-I love the adjustable gooseneck feature.-The base is sturdy but also space saving.-I have yet to hook it up but I love that it is compatible with smart plugs and switches. This was actually a deal breaker for me and eliminated a lot of similar products by competitors.What would make this a 5 star product:-larger light source. It’s relatively small- slightly larger than the size of my palm.-the ability to customize the pre-set buttons on the remote. I like most of the options but there are one or two favorite settings that I have to manually find. Plus, the “gaming” and “breastfeeding” presets are practically identical.-as far as I can tell the only way to use the timer feature is by pressing the “night” button which is a preset brightness/color temp setting that shuts the light off after 1hr. There is no way to adjust the timer length or use it with other light settings.-it might just be a defect with mine but the “color temp” and “brightness” adjustment buttons are reversed on my remote. I.e., the button that should control the dimmer actually changes the color temp. I can adjust but it’s annoying.

I bought this as I needed something streamlined and low profile to go next to my new leather sofa and to be used mainly for reading. It was packaged extremely well. I am a 73 year old woman and it took me about 10 minutes to assemble. Very well made and so easy to just screw the pole pieces together. Then popped the included batteries in the remote and oh my....fantastic. The options in brightness and color are just amazing and the pre-sets for reading, coffee, night etc so convenient. Love it so much I immediately ordered a second for the bedroom. The lamp stores wanted over $100 for lamps that can not compare to this one.

It’s a great lamp!PACKAGING - I was expecting the packaging to be big since it said it was a little over 5’ tall but it came in a package similar to the size of a medium USPS flat rate box.ASSEMBLY - instructions are simple. I would say you wouldn’t even need directions bc you can see how to connect the pieces together. Batteries are included for the remote, which is a plus.USE - easy to use. I love the bendable lamp neck to adjust at any and all angles (360 degrees). I also love the adjustable brightness and warmth. The remote is magnetic so it can attach to any thing meter if you don’t want to attach it to the lamp pole itself.

This is a very nice lamp, my second one. I like the one hour shut off timer and the different light brightnesssince I use it beside my bed. Easy to assemble, nice long cord can be used with a remote or on the pole itself. Good value.
