Campark WiFi Bluetooth Trail Camera 20MP 1296P with 940nm IR LEDs Night Vision Motion Activated IP66 Waterproof for Wildlife Monitoring

I've been testing the Campark T85 for a couple of weeks now and have captured some good video of wildlife in our area. The camera is easy to setup with the controls inside the unit or with a cell phone using Bluetooth and WiFi. I did get one camera that had a bad WiFi unit so it was exchanged and the replacement unit connects perfectly. The motion sensor does a pretty good job at catching fast moving animals but I wish it was a little faster and more sensitive on the highest setting. The camera captures good clear images and video on sunny days but the sensor struggles in lower light. Recorded video in 1080 are 16x9 format and in 1296 4x3. Night scenes with the IR are Ok. So far the two units I'm testing have been water tight in the coastal rain and fog with no sign of water infiltration. Audio quality is good capturing even the subtle sounds from a scene. I like these cameras and rate them a 3.5 stars.

I am more than satisfied with this camera. It takes great pictures and videos night or day. The issue I have is with the app for the iPhone. I believe I read where it's a third party app but the camera manufacturer needs to get their own version. The sequence to connect and download or view pictures is cumbersome. You cannot save more than one item at a time to your phones picture app.1. You have to wait a few seconds for the app to open.2. Select Turn On Bluetooth and wait for it to connect and the select the camera. (Here you can view "local" files but nothing on the camera.)3. Select Turn on WiFi and wait for it to start.4. Open settings on phone and select the WiFi network the camera creates.5. Return to app and touch the "+" to get started.6. To view more than a thumbnail you have to save the photo/video "locally" to the app. (This does NOT save the photo to your phones photo app) This "save" step can be performed one screen full batch of thumbnails at at a time. For me the app crashes if I try to save more than one screen full at a time.7. View and save "locally" saved files to your phone one at a time.I've had the app crash many times and have to start over with the connection steps.As far as range goes I think the camera does a good job with this — 30'-40' Line of Sight. Note that you may get connected at some distance but your files will download much faster if you can get within a few feet.As an incentive for this review the seller offered n OTG cardreader that I intend to use rather than the WiFi which I'll use only occasionally.

I've owned several game cameras over the years, mostly ones made by a company that starts with 'M'. I have used them to photograph and video game, as well as for security purposes to keep an eye on some property when I'm not around. I was pretty satisfied with my old cameras but kept having issues with battery compartment corrosion and having to navigate the nonsensical menu system they all used. Also, being as I normally place my cameras high up and out of harm's way to also be less visible, I had resigned myself to carrying a ladder and a replacement memory card and usually spare batteries with me every time I checked on my camera.When I saw that Campark ordered a WiFi-enabled camera I was curious and decided to give it a try. All I can say is 'WOW! The camera was well packaged, good looking and pretty substantial. It has a wide sensor area that can be switched and the response time is almost instant so you don't just get the 'tail' end of your shots.The set-up was a breeze even for me! The BlueTooth and WiFi connect without a hitch and the menus are easy to navigate. I've been using this camera for almost a month solid and have barely lost any battery. Now I can pull up, even in the rain, and download my pictures and videos, format the card, change any settings, check the battery and drive away! Campark did it right! I'm very happy with my new camera!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I am completely satisfied with this Campark T85 game camera it takes clear videos and pictures, It is well built and features easy setup with many customizable options. this is my second Campark camera, the first was a T70 and after four months of use taking many photos and videos it still has 60% battery left. I doubt if any of the cameras costing three times as much as the Campark will perform any better than this T85 does and I recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a camera for sport or security; and I will definitely be willing to buy Campark products in the future. db

CONS:- the WiFi does not work unless you are literally sitting within 2 feet of the camera. I checked it with multiple devices (2 iPhones and 2 iPads) and none were better than the last.- there is an insane spotlight that comes with the picture/video on the camera that wildlife runs from. Which is unhelpful when trying to catch wildlife on the wildlife cam.- the customer support is horrendous. I was in contact regarding the WiFi connection, and they would respond to me exactly once per day even if I responded to the immediately, and never with a solution, but always with a question that I more than likely answered in a previous explanation. Because there is a language barrier with the customer support, they took something I said in an email as a positive and said my issue was resolved and have since stopped responding to my emails.-at night, the pics are not great and very grainy. Despite saying there are multiple settings for clarity/MP...the best you can get is 8mp. Between that and the insanely unnecessary spotlight, it’s very disappointing.Pro:Nice pictures during the day.

The camera was easy to set up and we were pleased with the videos it took. We especially like the WiFi on this model which allows us to monitor the camera from the comfort of our home! Especially appreciated now the cold winter nights are upon us.Sadly after just over a month it developed a fault with card protection being permanently on, therefore rendering it unusable.We contacted Campark and had a reply within 24 hours, and they sent us a new SD card to try and solve the problem. Sadly it didn't, so they immediately despatched a new camera which arrived within 48 hours via Amazon. Happy to say this is working well.We can't praise Amy at customer support UK highly enough. Every email was dealt with within 24 hours. There was no quibble about the problem, and we are very happy to recommend Campark.

I bought the T85 to monitor my garden after watching a pair of foxes interacting (including jumping repeatedly over a narrow pond) in the first, very dim light of the early morning. I choose the T85 because it’s WiFi ability would mean that I could mount the camera high up and be able to check for overnight activity without needing to resort to a step ladder, especially if it was raining! Also, the presence of the external power supply socket on the base would allow me to use a 6v lead acid battery to power the camera for extended periods without needing to open the camera.When setting it up for the first time I chose to use a Sandisk 32GB sd card that I had been using successfully in my Canon G12 camera. I followed the instructions in the user manual, including reformatting the card in the T85, but immediate ran into problems. The T85 worked perfectly in that it detected movement, took still images and recorded video onto the card. However, while I could link to the camera from my iPhone 6 I could access the images/video only some of the time before a message popped up telling me that the card was full. Removing the card and reading it’s contents using a pc showed that only a small amount of its memory had been taken up, with the images loading into the computer without any problems.I contacted the company directly, outlined the problems that I was getting and was surprised at how quickly I received a response from their support team. After discussing my problem over a couple of days they offered to send me a new 32GB sd card to try. That arrived within two days and worked perfectly. Since then I have not needed to open the camera once. The app on my phone allows me to check the card for images at anytime, as I had hoped would be the case, The only problem now is the absence of the foxes, although the camera does get tested from time to time by the local cats! While the app doesn’t have a slick, refined appearance it works well, and I am now a happy T85 user, and I have just bought a second camera to give to my sonI must say that the friendly response I received from the support team (in China) was instrumental in that choice.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Brilliant. Was a bit dubious on buying judging by some reviews but properly set up I cannot fault it. The app is a little frustrating but not the camera. Of course there are some limitations on distance with Bluetooth and Wifi but that’s the nature of the technology. I’m really pleased with this camera and being particularly fussy with my purchases this is some recommendation. I’m now about to order a second one. Just wish the T86 and the solar panel was available in UK. Don’t wast time reading, buy it now.

I looked high and low for details about these cameras. There is stacks of information but not a lot to really understand in a simple manner. Many cameras of this sort are called "T" something and I was finally recommended the T80. No matter how I searched I could not find one. Anyway this is the T85 and it works brilliantly. Didn't know we had so many foxes in our garden!Recommended.

Outstanding product for the price, having wifi means you can connect to the camera & download stored images & videos stored on the sd card without even having to go outside to the camera, can also change all the settings while connected via wifi using the app on your phone.
