After installing the little black boxes right in the path of the raccoons that have been living in our attic I was mortified when I found the clever little critters (not so little) had knocked them down. I just sprayed Expel yesterday and it's working fairly well against squirrels. These nasty little fluffy tailed rats have stopped climbing my window screens and emptying my bird feeder. It didn't work so well on grass or soil, so I had to spray the feeder itself, not just the area below and around it. The birds don't seem to mind. Even though it's much stinkier, I plan to still use Liquid Fence on my flower beds. It kept my hostas safe from the deer throughout the 2015 growing season.Update: Don't buy this product. It is not nearly as stinky as Liquid Fence, which is a plus, but it also doesn't work well. The squirrels came back so I applied it again yesterday and it didn't even keep them away for one day.

I've had a roommate for a while now living under my porch. His name was Alabaster and he was a skunk. Look, I know there are some negative reviews on this product, and maybe using it on the outside of the home causes it to breakdown quicker, making it less effective, but from my own experience, I can say this stuff really does work if used inside.I would suggest that if you have a problem in the attic area of your home and don't have access to it, then transfer the liquid to a pressurized garden sprayer. Drill holes thru the fascia board and spray the inside from the outside of the home. I also had a problem between floors with rodents and did the same only this time drilling holes thru the bedroom floors. The result: I've been able to sleep soundly at night now for a week!!

I bought this item because were I live we get field mice. I didn't want to purchase pesticides since I didnt want to kill them, I just didnt want the mice In my house. I have small children and dogs. Most of the products I looked at were pesticides and then I read about this product and decided to try it dispite some of the reviews. Well I love this product!! As soon as I got it I cleaned my house and didnt find any mice. So then I started spraying this repellent in my couch and closets and mice started running out like crazy. After using this product I don't think I would use anything else. I am ordering a new bottle soon. I would give it 5 stars but I can't since it doesn't last very long. I have to spray at least once a week but it does do its job and doesn't affect my children or pets

I purchased this item based on reviews. I he'd the entire bottle around the area where raccoons frequently visit near my house. The very same evening and every night since they continue to come back. It's as if I sprayed water out of that bottle not a repellent. I even tried hot sauce and chili flakes the next few nights in addition to repellant and it was not helpful. Don't waste your money. Fortunately there is 30 day money back guarantee listed on the bottle. I will be mailing that in to see if they honor it.

Here's the deal. We had skunks that managed to get in the garage due to cold weather, a bit unusual forSouthern California. It took four days of applying the product around the garage to convince the skunks that they might be better off finding another home.
