Definitely waterproof
These pouches do exactly what they say. This is my second set. After 6 years sitting a top a stockade fence in Oklahoma one pouch became grayish and gritty to the touch. It was still doing the job I just didn't want to hold it to get out the clothespins I had inside.

Could be better but will work for my needs, more like water resistant than waterproof...
I am still a little concerned about these potentially ripping when in use, though the plastic material they're made from appears to be reasonably durable. At least for what I plan to use these bags for during travel, it'll keep the contents secure and dry though it's more like a water resistant bag than a waterproof bag with the design. They don't appear to be what I'd consider the best made for total exposure to water, but will likely keep contents within from minor water damage. The roll over velcro closure to the bag is a bit odd and I wonder how long the velcro will last with regular use due to how it's adhered to the bag itself, some past bags I've used by other manufacturers tend to have the velcro strip slip off the bag with the fluctuating temperatures experienced during travel. For the price, it's not too bad, but there's room for improvement with these bags.

Nice for travel
I have used these pouches often for travel. The only downside is that they do wear out, but they last much longer than ziplock bags or the equivalent. Much heavier plastic and nice velcro closures mean that they protect your papers and such while traveling.I use the small bag to hold my passport. The large bag is perfect for paper copies of your flight itinerary, e-ticket, or whatever. I use the middle size bag to hold my liquids for TSA. I am not sure if the bag is the exact equivalent of a "1 QT Ziploc bag," but I have never been questioned.Be careful to open the bag as directed, starting at the arrow in the center. Otherwise, you may tear the opening.

And the large one is like having a thin "vertical drawer"
I'm just using them for light rain-protection in a water-resistant backpack on my wheelchair. And the large one is like having a thin "vertical drawer" by storing only 1" or 2" thick items and those are in the 2 smaller pouches, of course. ;)(and BTW, it's wrapper has made a fine rain-cover for a small water-resistant battery lantern)*** A future idea, perhaps? Add something to strengthen that big pouch's eyelet for maximum strength, like a thick rubber grommet, so it could become like our MAIN go-to bag for wheelchair folks to enjoy? And a thicker cord might also extend that eyelet's "life expectancy? (and here I am, Talking to Myself, sorry ;)Best of Luck with ALL of those swimmers, mate!.

I am disappointed. Like some other reviews have said
I am disappointed. Like some other reviews have said. These are NOT WATERPROOF. My wife and I tested all three. The small bag stayed dry, but the medium and large bag were tested twice with a dry paper towel. This was after following the directions of rolling the tops three times and securing afterwards with Velcro. The paper towels in the medium and large bags were soaked and so were the inside of the bags as well. If one could find a way to somehow flatten the top of the bag on each roll before securing the VELCRO. This may keep the large and medium bag possibly water proof.I would not put cash, your wallet or anything inside these bags that could get water damage. Because of the bags inability to keep things dry when submerged under water I will have to change how I plan to use these bags. Water resistant, not sure, but definitely NOT WATERPROOF..

Not bad
These are good for the price, but they aren't very tough. In the past I've used similar designs to carry maps and other items and carry them attached to my ruck or around my neck or something where I can access them frequently. The first day I tried this for this item, the lanyard pulled through the hole and luckily I noticed and was on ground so it wasn't a big deal. I now just use these for items inside a pack or somewhere to keep items or documents dry. You could probably reinforce the hole and maybe add a metal eyelet.

Works but awkward
Opened the package to test them out and found them awkward to use. You have to fold down the flap twice that has the opening for you to put your stuff in, and then Velcro it to “close” the bag. There are no zippers or anything else to lock the bag except the velcro. 2 of the bags had an excess amount for you to fold down that I had to cut a small amount so it could fold flatter and only twice instead of 3 times. Also, one of our bags had part of the Velcro stuck to the bag itself and I had to rip it open for me to use. Velcro also feels weak and won’t last long with repeated use.In a nutshell, this will work in theory, but I don’t think it will work long term since that material feels weak and the construction is poorly designed.

Out of the box, I notice...
The item itself seems pretty sturdy and I'm not dissatisfied. The one big problem is the hole through which the lanyard is strung: placed towards the mouth of the bag, it essentially makes the opening about 2 cm / a little under an inch narrower than the inside of the bag. Luckily for me, my intended contents will still fit, but not quite as conveniently or smoothly as I hoped. As long as you're aware of that, it's a solid buy.

Funcionales
Son funcionales y protegen contra agua, sin embargo si lo que estas buscando es poder usar tu celular bajo el agua para tomar fotos, esto no será posible debido a que la funda no es del todo transparente
