Petmate Aspen Pet Self Warming Round Bed, 19.5 Inches, Barn Red and Cream

This is a great pet bed. I bought the same one in 2022 and just replaced it with the same one. We used it outdoors for our feral kitty. It made it through terrible weather over several seasons. Highly recommend!

Okay, I’m not always great about writing reviews, but I feel like I have to with this cat bed. I bought this bed in 2019. It’s now 2025 and this is still the favorite cat bed in the house. I’ve had cats my whole life, they’re finicky. Just because they liked it yesterday doesn’t mean they like it today. That’s not the case with this bed. It’s hands down the favorite spot in the house. My GusGus can vouch for that.

My kitty went in this almost immediately and makes biscuits in it daily. Definitely a good purchase and made for a happy kitty. :)

The bed is holding up well for my feral cat outside not sure about the self warming part

Almost two years ago I rescued two senior cats from the shelter. They hate everything. They are not food motivated, don't like treats, won't play with toys. One purrs, one does not. They finally allow me to pet them as long as it is on their terms. As older cats, they sleep a lot. I saw this product while looking for a softer option than the floor under my bed. Knowing that the likelihood of them accepting the bed, I bought only one. To my surprise, they loved i! One or the other was always using it. Cat bed #2 was quickly ordered. Each morning I find them in their beds in the corner of my bedroom. Happy cats, happy mama, and a great product.

Well, I sat it on the floor to put away the box it came in, and within 2 minutes one of my cats was in it. Within 5, both of my cats were. It has now been 3 hours and one of my cats has not left it and is sleeping so very peacefully.Both of my cats have ignored other beds that I have purchased in the past.The color is a very pretty color, almost a cross between burnt orange and wine, and I love it. It seems to be solidly made, although the stitching is visible on the inside around the edges. It should be fine, but I'm hoping no little claws catch it.It's very fluffy but not so thick that the cats are hesitant to step on it, which is a problem for my arthritic cat.It's very new, but so far so good!

My cats fight over this bed. It’s so snuggly. I have three cats that range between 6.5 to 12.5 pounds and they all fit!

After a few searches for a pillow for my cat, he FINALLY found one that he likes and will stay on. Previously, I bought a fuzzy & soft cat couch for him and he did not want anything to do with it. But as soon as this one arrived and we put it out for him, he went over with some hesitation, sniffed it, and slowly made his way over. As soon as he went inside the pillow, that was it. He made himself comfy and stayed for hours.The pillow itself is big enough for what we were looking for ( still has plenty of room left), love the red color, very soft inside and out; so far it’s holding up after a few days. The padding inside the bed is very soft and he loves kneading on it before going to sleep. Can’t comment on how it is after washing since it has not been in the washer yet.As a side note: Before this pillow bed, the cat would go and take over our dog’s crate, leaving our poor dog to sleep/ hangout on our wood floor :( Now that he has his own bed, he no longer goes over to our dog’s crate to sleep in it. I would say that he LOVES his bed and it’s a Win Win for all of us!
