This is the best finished tool holders i have seen. All aspects are perfect and components are not the cheap Chinese holders!!

Shars, in my experience, has been very predictable in mechanical quality and finish. The holes are cleanly tapped and the adjustment nuts work smoothly, ground surfaces a very clean.

I have 4 different manufacturers of tool holders....Shar's take 1st place. Fits better, adjusts better (you can loosen the jam nut change height and lock it down without jam nut turning height adjustment nut. Just a pleasure to use.

I like these for some of my cutting tools that are shorter.As always, replace the set screws with good ones (McMaster Carr). Factor that expense in to the total cost.
