12V plug-in did not work at first!
When we received this TV a few days ago, it did not work with the 12V DC plug in. But it wasn't the TV's fault. There was a fuse in the plug-in portion of the DC adapter that was blown. Many people may not know that there is a fuse in there and just assume that either the TV itself or the 12V power component of the TV doesn't work. However, it is easy to unscrew the top metal pin on the adapter and take out and replace the fuse. We had to do this to get our TV to work for the first time on 12V. But other than that, we are very pleased with the TV, at least for now. The picture is bright, we think the sound is plenty loud enough for inside our RV, and the antenna picks up a lot of channels. The DVD player also works well. However, the instruction manual could be better, since it was hard to figure out how to use the DVD player and various other features of the TV. As long as the TV will continue to work well and not be effected by the movement of our RV as we travel, we will be happy with our purchase.

Ehhhhhh on the 22inch dvd combo! 12V
Updated 5/16/16... I bought this for my camper because it's 12v.. I received it and it works well enough. However the pic quality is ok and the sound really SUCKS! There are people on here who say sound is fine for a small tv, but come on, if your not in a silent room, it SUCKS!! At 99 I can barely hear it! It will need a earphone speaker set or something along those lines to have better sound. I am hooking this into the onboard surround on my camper so it's fine because the sound there is great! Haven't really used it much, but for the price, ehhhh.... I hope that there are no more negatives as I use it in the future. (Update) Soooooo, this was bought for the trailer! Meaning not used on a daily basis only on camping trips. We finally took a 5 day trip to Moab and were able to take advantage of the 12v due to no shore power. This tv has worked well on shore power and 12 volt until the 12-15th use... We were enjoying a movie on 12v when pooof, the tv shut of 100% on batt.. I verified it was the tv and not the camper by checking it my truck 12v that I know works perfect. However, the 110 still works ok! But that is exactly why I didn't buy it.. It was purchased for batt use in my trailer. My whole thing is that for how much this tv costs, you should get more than a handful of uses out of it!! I will be contacting axess customer care today... We'll see how that goes!

Excellent picture, sound is somewhat lacking
We purchased this for our boat. It has a nice picture (if your not off to the side), and does a good job with DVD's. We have it hooked up to Apple TV and the picture is very clear. The sound is a little weak and lacks depth, so we hooked it up to a separate powered speaker, and that solved all the problems. It's light, so it was easily mounted on a bulkhead. Nice feature is that is also runs off battery power, so if your at a mooring or don't have a generator, you can still watch a movie! We are satisfied

Great TV
This TV has worked out great in my small RV. It is extremely light and with the DVD player built-in is also extremely versatile. It runs on 12 volt or 110 depending on what you need. It only draws around 36 Watts of power so it is very efficient. The View angles from the sides are nowhere near as bad as I thought they would be. The picture is vibrant and has quite a few adjustments available. It has a vesa mount on the back which works great for attaching it to a mount. Overall so far I have been very happy with it. The one drawback is that it definitely is not very loud. It has a headphone jack coming out of it so expect to have to use a separate speaker. As I said I have a tiny Teardrop trailer and I can barely get it loud enough to hear just inside that tiny thing. I also have excellent hearing. Just a warning.

Poor choice of TV and Company
Axess is a horrible company. If there was a negative star, they would receive it.My TVD 1803-22 Worked ok for a few weeks but I rarely used it as it was in my Airstream. I used it on an overnight trip and the 12v cable melted on me... (overheated)? and then the TV stopped working. I called Axess multiple times ...Line Busy...long waits... Tech not there...etc. I finally spoke to a a customer service rep and they told me to fill out a form on there website and they would get back to me. When I finally spoke to someone 3 weeks later.... (they did not call me ... I had to call them) they told me I only had a 3 month warranty and that I was past the that by 3 month and they would only cover parts. I would have to pay for the labor and shipping both ways... Not cool. I asked them to start the process and and it took the Tech rep 2 weeks to set up the RMA info. By then I just gave up. I could by a new Better Tv for the same price as the repair. Bottom Line do not buy from this company. Faulty equipment and poor customer service! Make sure you buy the amazon extended warranty!!!

good enough for me
ConsVolume is lowPicture auto options are limitedProsUser manual is well laid outRemote control is fully capable.Full set of buttons on back of tv if remote is lost or dies.I found the sound too low and ordered speakers to enhance it. I am slightly hearing impaired which may play a roll. It fits perfectly on my small desk and I love that I can use it at a digital camera frame.

Its a nice unit but the viewing angles are not the best
Its a nice unit but the viewing angles are not the best. Be sure to get a 22" or larger if you want to use Roku streaming. I had initially ordered the 19". Although it said that is could do 1080p, it could not. Had to return the TV and get a 22". Roku needs true 1080p and you can only get that resolution on AXESS tv's over 22".

Speakers/Volume very low
Good LCD TV, except for speakers. Picture quality is good and all functions are easy to figure out. Audio seems very low, 0-10 volume is very quite, 11-60 is still low and can not tell it is getting any louder as you adjust, 61-80 is ok if you shut off everything in the camper. Any fans or A/C will drown out any audio from TV even at loudest setting.

The TV powered up but the DVD player did not ...
The TV powered up but the DVD player did not work- just kept ejecting the disc. We were able to return the TV without problems, but did have to pay for shipping, which cost around $30.
