Foss, I'm not sure if you are aware of the following information: for a product to be labeled "100% organic" it must be made with 100% organic ingredients, to be labeled "organic" it must be made with 95% organic ingredients and to be labeled "made with organic ingredients" it must be made with 70% organic ingredients. Most (4 of 6 blends) of Borsari Seasonings are "seasoned salt" which have a higher than 70% salt content and salt can not be certified organic (we have inquired) we are not able to make any claim of "organic". Q: I've seen this at whole foods and it looks a bit coarse for me.....has anyone tried to run it in a salt/pepper mill?

When using on various meats and poultry, the particles melt during the cooking process. Any coarseness disappears. When using on salads and vegetables, I happen to like a little bit of a flavorful crunch that Borsari gives. My entire family is literally addicted to the Borsari line of products. I have kids who looked at vegetables like they landed from Mars. With the Borsari seasonings, they are now eating everything from Broccoli to carrots. - Diagonally slice some peeled carrots, toss them in a bowl with a little olive oil and a generous dose of Borsari- Mix them up and put on a baking sheet in oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Absolutely delicious. I use the Borsari Black label and Red label everytime and is out of this world!

If you like a little spice, try the cracked pepper blend.
