Beautiful
An amazing value. For the price it is an amazing platform for an upgrade project. Replaced the electronics with a monster tone board and drilled a hole for a toggle switch. Even with these cheap $7 pickups, it roared. Thought about replacing the pickups but may wait now to do that. Replaced all the hardware with black furnishings and knobs as well as black taped strings and this thing is beautiful and plays very well. Straight neck out of the box. Just had to raise the action a little because the E was buzzing a lot on the fretboard on the first and second frettings. All in all a great value for a really nice looking bass. Was thinking of getting an similarly priced Harley Benton but the shipping now is over $100 from Thomann.

Good bang for the bucks, good thumpin' for the bumpin'
Other than a few finish flaws, dings and uneven stain which it's going to get eventually, and some of the routed holes are a little wonkie, I like it. Light weight, easy neck access after 20. Needed a neck setup, but what do you expect for $300. Nice solder work, shielded control cavity. Small pots, yet the Belcat system growls. 3.5 outta 5

This Fretless 4 String Electric Bass fret less and plays like a thousand dollar instrument
This Fret less 4 String Electric Bass fingers and plays like a thousand dollar instrument. With the active electronics and passive pickups it has a very versatile sound that to the ears of this 54 years of bass playing blends well with rock blues jass and contemporary styles of music.Well worth at least three times the asking price.Great first fret less or for an experienced bassist.

Very difficult to return the product
You get what you pay for. The bass is inexpensive, which explains it’s low quality. Sound was not good at all. Strings were high/away from bass neck. What I did not expect and was very frustrating, is the return process. If it was not for Amazon, I this seller would not have accepted to my return, which was done 3 days after receiving the instrument.Seller kept on replying via email and procrastinating before I got Amazon’s support involved.Stay away from sellers like these, until they get their act together. However, I do encourage everyone to shop through Amazon, because they’ll make sure to protect you as a customer.Note: I am not affiliated with Amazon in any way shape or form, I am just another customer who’s been shopping on Amazon for a long time and have had nothing but satisfaction.
