Ares is wearing a cloak of stars to symbolize the USA and he wears a crown because he is the king of all warriors. He is armed with a modern day rifle to pay homage to the present day soldier. The Latin phrase Virtute et armis means "By courage and by arms". The Wolf appears behind Ares because of its nature as a predator, and correspondingly it is strongly associated with danger, destruction, making it the symbol of the warrior. The black background is to symbolize the enemy as dark and faceless. Larger sizes are available.
