Duel Art: Kazuki Takahashi Yu-Gi-Oh! Illustrations I am a long time Yu-Gi-Oh fan. Since I was in elementary school back in 2001 I remember watching Yu-Gi-Oh! I grew up with the show all the way through high school and enjoyed every bit of the original Duel Monsters series.This book is very much so worth it for any fans ranging from casual, to hardcore Yu-Gi-Oh fan. The book includes 120 beautiful pages of art, all kept neatly and tightly in a hardcover bind.Included are some beautiful poster card illustrations with a variety of selections from various main characters. You get about 20+ of these, the book then dives into the future and showcase some Yu-Gi-Oh! GX and spin off series arts, about 10+ pages, you get a variety of contraptions (arts of various Yu-Gi-Oh! Characters together from the array of spin-offs), creation reasoning, creator notes, drawings and each stages etc...Really the book contains a lot of beautiful arts my person favorites are the notes that Kazuki Takahashi noted about each piece of page, the auther comments on each piece of art within the book at the "index" of the book.

Kazuki Takahashi, and the people who put this Duel Art book together did a magnificent job! There is so much beautiful artwork done by Takahashi himself for the first four series', along with an interesting interview outlining Takahashi's art style and process, and inspiration behind Yu-Gi-Oh! Definitely a must have for any obsessed fan or person who is familiar with the show. It also comes as a solid hardback with high quality prints. I may have fangirled a little. My childhood and my inner child now was very happy.

A lovely book, all the art is so well done! I was hoping for a little bit more in regards to character design references, but its still very enjoyable trip through my childhood!

I collect artbooks and yet this surprised me in an unprecedented way. Every single page is great and beautiful, it is kind of small but also very cheap for a product of its nature. It doesn't contain a lot of comments from the creator, but they focused on the art and did a fantastic job at it.So far one of my favorites, if not the best. Extremely recommended if you are an old-school yugioh fan.

The art is wonderful and I enjoyed reading about the processes used to produce all of this great work. The spine feels delicate when flipping through, but the overall package is great. An update including the newest show ( Arc-V) would have been fantastic, but it's not essential and we can't be beggars when unique content makes it over. All we need now is the light fiction novels and we will have everything!

I love ❤️ the art and how kazuki had that one vision to create just a beautiful lovely masterpiece and how beautiful and handsome yugi and yami yugi Prince Atemu are. So for those who are interested in buying it just do in. Thanks

Cool book, but has few monsters, mostly just pictures of Yugioh.

Libro con arte y descripción del universo Yu-gi-oh! Incluye muchas imágenes de la serie, de cartas y personajes así como descripción de las mismas. El libro está más enfocado en la primer saga por lo que verás imágenes con Yami, Yugi, Dark Magician, Blue Eyes White Dragon, Kaiba, etc, pero aun así incluye imágenes de algunas series posteriores pero en menor cantidad.La presentación es muy buena, el libro es grande, de pasta dura, con una cantidad considerable de hojas y de excelente calidad. Si eres fan del juego de cartas o te agradó la serie original, considera adquirir este libro. No te arrepentirás.

Precioso libro con ilustraciones entorno al mundo de Yu-Gi-Oh! Sin duda, más próximo para aquellos fans de la serie que de tan solo el juego.Empieza con algunas ilustraciones originales de las cartas más características. Sigue con imágenes digitales en relación a la primera temporada y un poco de las siguientes (Gx, 5D's, etc.). Tiene line arts y concepts de algunos personajes para el anime. Luego se centra en las ilustraciones a tradicional del manga original (mi parte preferida de todo el libro. Aunque el arte digital tmb es impresionante, que conste).Cerca del final, explica paso por paso cómo realiza dos de las ilustraciones que contiene este artbook; superinteresante ver el proceso.Finalmente, una entrevista con el autor.PD: Todo esto en inglésLa cubierta es de tapa dura, de muy buena calidad. La parte de delante blanca, con Yugi, y la de detrás negra, con Yami. Las letras de la portada tienen un bonito color dorado que brilla con la luz.Es un buen artículo y de una muy buena calidad. Recomendado para fans.

This book exceeded my expectations. I had seen some scans online before, but the content of this book is more than I had hoped for and the quality of the colours is unrivalled. Since the original version was published before Arc V, its content is limited to the original story with a hint of GX, 5DS and ZeXal. The author's style has evolved so much, it's incredible to look at and compare. The comments and interview are also worth a read. There's even a process of Duel Art section that makes me want to start painting again. If you love the original manga and, of course, Duel Monsters, it's definitely worth it.And the high quality picture of Shiba-Warrior Taro is adorable.
