Sturdy and Practical
Love this shoe rack!! Kind of tedious to put together, but only took about half an hour to assemble and overall it was very easy. Instructions were super clear and easy to read. The shoe rack itself is very light weight, but somehow still super sturdy!! Holds all or our shoes perfectly. I like how its not super deep, so it doesn’t stick out into the hallways or doorway, but it is just deep enough that the shoes fit nicely on the shelves. 10/10 would recommend!

Pretty sturdy and very lightweight piece -- good value
Have faith in the process! Couldn't believe when I got the very small box what would come of it...As you put it together, it will seem crooked and as if the parts are cheap, but when it all comes together it's quite solid and holds a lot! Pay attention to the construction and you'll see that it can be easily reconfigured, too. It was odd to have gloves to protect your hands from the rough ends of the metal bars, and the mallet head fell off mid- strike, but those things were really no big deal. No other tools were needed. All the crap haphazardly stacked in my hallway has a home now and, for the price, I'm super pleased!

It'll do the job nicely
The assembly directions weren't the best. When assembling, make sure the holes in the joint pieces are facing upwards for the vertical supports. Also, Make sure you slide the canvas on the long horizontal bars before fitting in the cross-beam unit (there was no direction about putting part G-the canvas- on the bars). The side hanging pocket sections need to be threaded onto the the cross-beams for tier 7 before putting the connecting joints on.It does come with a few extra parts (the direction sheet says so). However, there appears to be 2 sets of finishing caps, and they're different sizes. I found that the ones in their own separate baggie (smaller ones) fit properly- large ones wouldn't fit at all.My average shoe size is men's 11US. As you can see, I am only able to get 2 pairs on each shelf section. And, most of the pairs kind of rub the shoes next to them. The dress shoes are a little narrower, so they don't seem to have that problem. It feels very flimsy when empty, which wouldn't warrant a 5-star rating, but with the shoes on it, it will be sturdy enough (so it gets 5 stars). Because I had to figure out certain things with the directions, they don't get 5 stars. Also, they suggest 24-30 pairs of shoes will fit- maybe kids shoes. I have 2 pairs in the side pockets (1 shoe per pocket)- I have a total of 23 pairs and the space is maxed out. Thus, it's not quite as advertised, but I'm not disappointed, even if the price is a tad high, imho. Now I have all my shoes in 1 location instead of 2 closets! I would recommend to others.

Just what I needed
First of all, it came with all of the right pieces, and some spares, which is great. (I have purchased many items that required assembly, and which have been missing an essential part, so I have learned the hard way to always do an inventory of all pieces before starting.) The shelf material is made of a fabric that seems like it will be easy to wipe clean and the connector poles are made of metal, which is good. The package also includes a pair of gloves (I didn't understand why they were included at first, but more on that below) and a little wooden mallet. To avoid confusing myself, I sorted all pieces and then used post it notes to label them all. I also labeled each of the shelves as I assembled them for the same reason. The instructions were super easy to follow but I wanted to be sure I remembered which shelf was which because it's pretty important once you start snapping the whole thing together at the end. I didn't use the gloves that were included because I hate working in gloves, but they were included because the ends of the metal bars are quite sharp. Full disclosure: I just used my hoodie sleeves pulled over my hand when I was pushing on the ends of the bars so I didn't cut myself. The mallet was only used for the final step—knocking the little plastic caps into place on the top of the shelf. My only complaints are that 1.) These little plastic end caps were the most challenging part of the whole process because the opening of some of the metal poles are not quite uniform so I had some trouble getting the caps to fit into a few of them. (My husband's big, strong hands to the rescue!!) and 2.) The side pockets, which I was going to use for my flip flops and flats, are way too shallow for size 9 shoes. Smaller-footed folks might have an easier time with this part. Instead, I will be using these pockets for clutch purses and travel accessories (luggage belts, etc). All told, I am very happy with this product. It holds all of the shoes I need it to, and then some (even after I put the flats on the shelves instead of in the pockets) and the fabric shelving material is pulled taught enough that my shoes stand up and don't fall over. The tallest shelf on the bottom holds two pairs of tall riding boots and the second tallest shelf holds my two pairs of mid-calf height boots perfectly. I might even buy one more of these to replace another shoe shelf I have in a different room.

Pay Attention to Direction of Connectors
This fits the space by my entrance way for family ad friends to leave their shoes and various items. It is sturdy once all put together. It took me longer than expected. Unfortunately, it is tricky to put together even with instructions. I made a mistake with the direction of some connectors and when I was taking it apart, one of the shelf sheets ripped. I managed to make it work, but I worried about making another error. One of the shelf sheets was already flawed. Although you get a few extras things like poles and connectors, you do not get extra shelf sheets. The little mallet is fairly useless and I needed to dig out my rubber mallet. The gloves were a nice touch and helped me have the grip to pull things apart. I will have to try to get in touch with the merchant to see if I can get a couple shelf sheets to replace the one I buggered and the defective one. Overall, it does what I wanted it to accomplish. The shelves get taut once everything is put together. I may just get a basket to fit in the space of the one I inadvertently ripped. I like the side pockets, which will be good for gloves, mittens, and hats this winter. Overall, for the price and practicality, I am glad I purchased it.
