Pros and cons on this book really.There is a section that lists all the bad things to avoid in the natural products which has been an excellent reference when buying ingredients.I tried the recipe for mascara, twice, both times it didn't work for me, came out very grainy and quite dry the first time. I added a little more oil the second time as the clay I had was powdered so thought it might need the extra moisture but it still didn't work still grainy.I'm still planning to try some more recipes, I am hoping they do work cause I do really like the book.
