Perfect PSU for the HX Stomp. Worked as expected.

It does the job.
This is a power supply unit. A PSU that stays cool whilst I play on my HX Stomp. It does the job. Excellent value for money. There's no unwanted hum from a mains ring.

Buy first-party, save yourself potential damages
I thought this would be an ideal solution for a spare HX Stomp PSU, but every time it was plugged in there would be an interminable buzzing through whatever amp, speaker, monitor etc. I was using. I finally realised it was the PSU and not the Helix when I went into a studio and this buzzing was sent THROUGH THE MAINS LINE INTO THE STUDIO EQUIPMENT. An entire rack of expensive outboard gear was being rendered impotent against this buzz, even when the Helix wasn't wired in via instrument or XLR cables. Only swapping out this supply for the original 1st party one solved the issue, meaning this adapter was entirely to blame. I'd honestly say it wasn't even consistent in powering the Helix, on occasion the Hx unit would just crash and not actually turn on. I don't THINK the Helix is damaged, but I'll bet my bottom dollar I got lucky.

Great PSU
I love the quality of this. Great value for money. Plug in and play, so easy to use. I will only know how durable it is after at least 6 months of use. Noise, sound quality and durability do not apply as yet.
