The Little Prince and Fox knelt before an open jar which held a few scattered rose petals. The Little Prince read from a letter from his beloved Rose which read in part, "Gloomies are circling B612 ... it won't be long until ..." Surely it was the end because Snake had kidnapped her, but where had he taken her? Fox encouraged the Little Price to concentrate and think of someone, anyone who could help him. I'll never see my Rose again." The Little Prince's face began to fall. How could they ever find the Planet of the Snake and if they could, would they be able to defeat the most evil being in the Universe?This is the exciting tale of the Little Prince and the Fox who will attempt to battle Snake on his own planet. Snake, of course is at his most evil when he captures the Little Prince's beloved Rose. This is a fast-paced, graphic novel that will excite young readers, especially reluctant ones interested in fantasy. The artwork is stunning and the fantasy panels will have definite appeal to the young reader. The combination of an exciting fantasy tale and the artwork has definitely moved this series forward, perhaps interesting some in classic literature as well. Asteroid B612, home of the Little Prince’s love, Rose, will never be the same without her.
