For the price this is a lovely dress. I sized up since the back is adjustable with a corset closure and the fabric does not stretch and it fits beautifully. The fabric is a lighter weave like a faux silk or satin and perfect for hotter weather, like summer outdoor renfaires. I would suggest layering with a thicker undergarment if you are using it for a colder event as this material will not keep you warm. It lays beautifully against the skin and flows giving a nice silhouette. It does wrinkle quite a bit in transit because of the way it is packaged (bagged) but light ironing easily solves this. There is a dye smell when first opened, so airing the dress bt hanging it up a day before an event will remove that. The trim is nice and the dress even has a side zipper. I am 5'4 and the skirt brushes the ground on an XXL. I could probably have sized down but I like the fit and the slight extra room. The sleeves are quite fun but a bit too long, but it isn't a problem as they are designed to fall back from the wrist.The only con for me is that the lovely trim for the "belt" does not continue around to the back so it does look a bit odd from the side. This is easily remedied by wearing your own medieval style belt over top, which will be handy for hanging a bag for your belongings as there are no pockets.All in all, this is a lovely dress that can easily be a starter piece for a medieval style kit and serves quite well in terms of comfort and fitting the vibe for an inexpensive price. Highly recommend it for those on a budget, just starting out, or someone in need of a "backup" gown for events that last several days. Great value for the price and a good bargain.

Nice costume costume but the neckline lays weird. Returned because we could not get it to lay right. Very stretchy material. Size up if you want to not have any bulges showing.

The costume is a good fit, did not need any alteration, easy to put on (even without a zipper)

Dress is cheaply made and thin.

My whole Dance Collective I am in ordered this dress for a Beltane Performance. I Love the way it fits!! It was easy to Dance in & such a beautiful dress!

It was ok fitting for the price, but it smelled awful. And it came with a huge burn hole in it. I'm not sure what happened there.It's not prime available, so make sure you order with plenty of lead time just in case yours comes damaged and you need to return and purchase something else.

Had to return cause the event was canceled. However the dress was good.
