We are currently using Brutus Barnaby bully sticks and Healthy Edibles Nylabone to satisfy mr chewy pup's restless and relentless teething bouts. The first healthy edible worked good enough however the next two broke right in the middle and they are $7.29/each for the large size. They are also VERY MESSY, creating a film of brown paste all over the dogs feet, legs and whatever surface he is chewing the edible nylabone on - and this paste is not easy to wash off. I have to get a nail brush to scrub off the paste residue from his feet and legs. My point here is that we prefer the Brutus Barnaby bully sticks over these two choices."Digestibles" and Hardness: When faced with trying to find a product that will last against aggressive chewers, most turn to hooves and bones. These are too hard and can cause a tooth fracture that can't be seen without a skilled dental exam by the vet, usually while the dog is under anesthesia. These type fractures can allow bacteria inside the tooth and gums and cause terrible damage before they are discovered as a problem. This is why I stay away from super hard chew products. The alternatives are softer products that either don't last (pig ears, other brand bully sticks, esophagus chews...) or are not digestible (rawhide, rubber chews, composite nylon chews, braided ropes, etc.) With Healthy Edibles Nylabone, the dog's saliva slowly dissolves the 'bone' while chewing on it so it's not a super hard product like a hoof or butcher bone. Upon the examination of the healthy edible 'bone' after initial use by the dog, you can see that it is a compressed composition of the natural materials it is made from and slowly erodes with saliva and repeated contact with the teeth.Hope this review helps

While they are very tasty, they seriously DO NOT last as far as nibbling and/or biting on for a miniature dachshund. So they feel more like any other treat instead of a CHEWY long lasting one. Sorry.

Very expensive and short lived. Didn’t last very long at all. Dachshund ate the bone in under 3 minutes.

My dogs get an evening snack and these bone are a favorite.

This is my dogs' very favorite treat. Used to be Greenies, but now they go crazy over Broth Bones.

Good value, dogs love them. I give them one when I go out....keeps them amused and satisfied.
