This wooden board has a finished edge & I believe it is far more durable compared to the others. The game is easy to learn & a blast to play. Love the fancy playing cards. If taken care of, this game board can be handed down for several generations to come. Packaging was excellent & nothing was damaged or missing. I wish they would make a carrier to protect & to hold everything in one place but there are plenty of options out there. I am extremely pleased with this purchase & seller

I have to say this game is one of the highest quality games I have ever bought. The horse pieces are high quality solid metal, and the board has metal inserts in each hole to hold the pieces firmly in place. Many cheaper boards just have holes drilled in the wood, a big difference in quality and probably durability over time. I wanted a fun family game, and at the same time a fun game for just the adults when friends come over. This game fits the bill all around. Would have been nice if the board came with a box to store in, that way we can keep the horses, dice and cards all contained.The breakdown on how I determine my star rating of a product…5 stars – I love it! We’ve had some much fun playing this game, it moves along fast and it’s all luck of the dice and cards, no strategy here! Everyone we’ve played with has either bought one or wants to. The board is cherry wood and is nicely made, the horses are heavy metal and don’t feel cheap. Easy for the whole family to play or the adults can have a more serious experience💰

The first board I received was incomplete with little stain and no markings. I sent it back and got another. It looks great. I would give 5 stars if i received the second one originally.

I bought this as a gift for my husband, my brother in law has the same game and he recommended that I buy the same one. It is very high quality and it’s a lot of fun to play!

We took this to my daughter's on Thanksgiving, where there was a Pastor and a small church group for the occasion. We got out the Fancy cherry wood horse race game. 8 played, laughed, hooted, Hollard, and played 3-4 races. They enjoyed it so much, I could easily sell 4 more games for you. They still greet my daughter by asking "where did your dad get that horse game - we can't find it, and we want some of them..."I have nothing but good to say about the workmanship and quality. I am a wood worker myself and I am impressed with the detail and finish - Nice job. This model is still unavailable. too bad.. Also the detail of the metal horses and pricey look and feel is a grand touch, caught everyones eye. The supplied deck of cards with rose look & feel almost metal, I keep for show and NOBODY touches them - too beautiful.

It’s a little pricey, but it’s well built and will last along time.
