I received the Muhle badger bristle shave cream brush as a birthday gift from my son. He said it was important to hang the brush with the bristles hanging down rather than setting the brush bristles-up on the bathroom counter. He said it helps to drain the moisture out of the brush and help in the durability of the brush. It is a handsome addition to the bathroom.

The stand is attractive, satisfies its intended purpose of holding my Muhle Silver Tip Badger shaving brush and my Pacific Shaving Company razor, and it sits neatly on the countertop of my bathroom sink without requiring much of a footprint. It could be a little sturdier, just a bit. I suspect its designers sacrificed sturdiness for attractiveness. While I am on the subject of attractiveness, its attractiveness--all chrome and elegantly designed--does not in my view justify its price. The stand is advertised as being "universal," but it takes me just a bit of maneuvering to position the razor so that its blade is not sitting on the base. Overall, its attractiveness is a compliment to the Muhle Silver Tip Badger brush.

Well finished and sturdy. Much more expensive than most, but you will be looking at it and handling it for the next ten year or longer, until you decide not to use brush and blades. If you are committed to this way of shaving, then it is worth it.

This quality of this product is no good. After less than 2 years of normal use, some of surface of the product became rusty. See the circled area in the photo.

This is one of the most amazing stands I have ever purchased for my shaving utensil’s!!! It is extremely heavy and I want to thank MUHLE for their excellent and exceptional workmanship on such a high quality product!!! I will be purchasing more of these products in the future!!!

Fantastic quality!

Really nicely made and surprisingly weighty. It's also surprisingly small, although the compactness helps. I'm subtracting a star for VFM: it's excellent but it's expensive for what it is. I wouldn't say it was a total rip-off, but the price is certainly a bit 'ambitious'. I don't see why it wouldn't last a lifetime, however.

Der Ständer ist schwer und macht einen äußerst Wertingen Eindruck. Ich habe ihn mit diversen Rasierhobeln ausprobiert, auf dem Produktfoto seht ihr meinen RockwellRazors 6c. Ich habe mir diesen Ständer speziell gekauft, weil ich ihn mit allen möglichen Rasierhobeln oder Wechselklingenmessern nutzen kann. Als Pinsel habe ich hier den großen Mühle Classic Dachshaar größe L, der völlig problemlos hinein passt und auch noch Luft nach unten hat. Mein Synthetischer Pinsel (Omega Roma Collosseo) passt allerdings nicht aufgrund des zu dicken Griffstücks. Aber das war zu erwarten, da dieser Pinsel wirklich extrem groß ist. Ich bin sehr froh über diesen guten Kauf

At last a stand that looks good and works well . They may not be that good at soccer now but they know how to design things.
