VGA KVM Switch 2 Port

I love this device which connects my Windows 10 tower computer and my Windows 7 tower computer to my 24" VGA monitor... and when I press the button to switch from my Windows 10 computer over to my Windows 7 computer, my Windows 10 USB keyboard and USB mouse BOTH also work on my Windows 7 computer!!! So with this device I was able to clear up LOTS of desk space by eliminating my other 23" monitor and my Windows 7 USB keyboard & USB mouse!!! NOTE: I was a little skeptical about purchasing this device after reading some negative reviews (some reviewers said it caused computer screen resolution issues and visible lines on their monitor screen/some said it is too difficult to set up because the included instructions are not very clear/some said the device doesn't work at all/one reviewer was disappointed because he said you must have BOTH computers turned on in order for this device to work properly). I wanted to make it clear that when you have this device properly hooked up I was able to use just ONE of my two computers WITHOUT having to have my second computer turned on also, which is a nice option if you don't always need to use both computers during the same time period and switch back and forth with this device... I had NO screen resolution issues and NO vertical lines on my screen after hooking up the device (on my Windows 7 computer the screen resolution setting remained the same, but I did have to re-adjust my Windows 10 computer screen resolution back to my default 1920x1080 setting). So to sum up my review I would say setting up this device on my 2 computers was pretty straight forward using the two included VGA video cables and I watched one of the videos shown on their Amazon page where I ordered this device from (the brief instructions that come in the package are NOT very helpful so you will probably need to refer to their video installation guide on their Amazon order page which shows in color where to hook up the 2 included VGA cables to this device and where to hook up your keyboard and mouse!)... To complete the setup you will need to use ONE of your own video VGA cables to run from this device to the monitor that you want to use, and then you just connect your USB keyboard & USB mouse from one of your computers to this device and you are ready to use both of your computers that are now connected to only 1 monitor!!! This KVM works very well. Switching back and forth without problem. The display is clear and the keyboard and mouse input is responsive. Good product.

It is a 2 way KVM, it works and was plug and play at a great price!

Works OK but it is not smart and it is finicky. Had to turn on each computer one by one before switching to the next one If I turn them on all at the same time then only the number one will display; and the others will return "no display". Also you have to first turn on the next computer, wait a few seconds, then switch to the number, and proceed like so. If you press the next key and turn on it will return "no display". Using 3 HP Prodesk 400 with VGA running Linux Debian 12, text based only. Tested the keyboard and video. Did not test mouse. Still a good product for the price, and it does it's thing.

Very nice thing to have and a space saver. I hooked up two Fedora Linux and one Windows OS computers to it, all three computers now using one USB wired mouse, one keyboard and one monitor. My wife has two Windows computers, desktop and laptop connected to the switch. Her mouse is WiFi though and everything works properly. WiFi adapter plugs directly into the USB of the Switch.

I purchased this item on 12/2/2025 and today it failed to recognize thumb drives and other storage devices connected to a usb port. It was intermittently connecting. I only used it occasionally. I am purchasing an IOGEAR 2-Port USB VGA Cabled KVM Switch that has a 3 year warranty.

This switch arrived quickly in a retail box. I first tried a different switch that cost 3x a much and I couldn't get it to work at all. I have one old VGA monitor and an older WIN10 HP PC and a brand new WIN11 HP PC. I wanted to be able to view both PCs on the one monitor as I transfer files from the old PC to the new PC. This switch allows me to have both PCs on and plugged in to the switch as well as using one keyboard and mouse to control both PCs. I just had to make all connections before powering up either PC and then turn them on. At first it did not work, but I had connected only the VGA end of the cables to the PCs and not the USB plugs that are tied in to the same end as the VGA connectors. So I then plugged in the USB plugs on the back of both PCs and instantly was able to view the one on the monitor. I then clicked the switch and saw the other PC on the monitor. I then rebooted each PC as they were fully plugged in just to ensure that I was getting the best picture from each PC. Once they rebooted I was able to switch between PCs by clicking the button and the pictures were perfect. Awesome switch and well worth the $17.

Worked fine!

If, for whatever reason, you want to run TWO PC's with only one screen , mouse and keyboard, with access to a common external memory, this is exactly what this switch does. All the required leads are included and no installation or setting adjustments are required for Windows 11. Switching is achieved by a low profile button on top of the switch. One click swaps to the other PC, screen, and with the USB receiver plugged into the unit, my cordless keyboard and mouse go with it. I find it very useful, rather than have two screens.

Lo compré hace 2 meses y hasta el momento me ha funcionado muy bien. Es muy fácil de instalar y su tamaño es ideal pues es sumamente pequeño y no ocupa demasiado espacio.

good and quality product

Easy to use. Works perfectly for what I needed to do.

Working good
