Excellent sleep aid!
UPDATE AFTER A MONTH:Well, I still can't live without this stuff!! Came back to order another bottle because the family has now caught onto it's "sleepy" effect for bedtime:) It has NO effect on my guts (and I have been dealing with gut issues for a year now so I know what I am talking about when I say it has zero laxative effect!ORIGINAL POST:I have Lyme disease and it has left me with restless legs at night. I can't hold them still. I twitch and cramp and the only way to relieve it was to stand on my legs. (Not an ideal sleeping position...) and then I was reading up on healing my guts (it's been a long year people) and I came across Magnesium and started to look into adding it to my routine (which is rather strict so I know what does/doesn't piss off the IBS type pains that accompany the Lyme bullcrap) and I tell you what. The first night I took 1 pill, unsure what would come. And slept pretty good. About an hour after taking it I felt my legs relax enough to sleep. The next night? 2 pills. SLEPT LIKE A BEAR IN WINTER for 10 straight hours! I have taken 2 a night for weeks and slept great until 2 nights ago I forgot and fell asleep...and woke up 1.5 hours later with restless legs! I rolled over and took just 1 Mag pill and in a few hours was back asleep. I will never make that mistake again!I also have MVP (mitral valve prolapse) that my cardiologist put me on beta-blockers for (years ago), but in researching the side effects of those compounded now with Lyme treatments, I stopped taking them. So the random flutters, thudding in my chest, pain after exercising all came back within a day. The beta blockers were nice...but the magnesium has now all but replaced them! I have a few funny beats when I lay down at night, but I haven't had one episode of randomness during the days and I wake up feeling much more energetic.I'm not a doctor, I'm not paid to take these, I just wanted others to know I found relief from some pretty stressful things all from adding these to my regimen. I switched to Keto type lifestyle and the IBS has not flared up in over a month. I was on 4 Bentyl pills a day and now? None. Diet can help a LOT in healing the guts. And any other Lyme sufferers out there, just know, I am praying for you! You can do it!(Oh and adding collagen to the same protein shake in the am has helped the stiff joints...if you have Lyme you know what I mean... I got it off Amazon too- let's face it we aren't going shopping in a store just to browse. It was- hold on- have to get off the couch to go see...you are worth the effort..."Collagen Peptides Hydrolyzed Type 1 and 3 unflavored from Sports Research" It mixes up tasteless and I started with half a scoop a day and that was doing something so I increased to a scoop a day and now no more achy hands, hips, knees, ankles, shoulders...you know the list. But they don't ache anymore:) Bless you all!(For reference I was diagnosed with Lyme about 7 months after being bitten (which is now 15 months ago) I had reactivated EBV (think mono) that would NOT go away for months and months and months (the antigens just kept climbing) and no one could figure out why, and then my cardiologist (bless his heart) said most Lyme panels return negative. So he started me on Lyme treatments and guess what happened after only 4 days? Yes. I was herxing and mad as *$^# the other doctors hadn't figured it out. I'm still in treatment, but I feel SO much better. The mono is almost gone (I get wicked tired but that can also be the Lyme) and I have many, many great days in a row of being productive and pain-free!

GREAT for Sleep & Muscle Recovery
I've been taking 2 capsules after dinner/before bed, per my functional medicine doctor's recommendation for months now. I've gone through so many bottles of this (and stocked up when I saw they were offering 3-packs). I've also gifted to family and recommended to friends. Magnesium Glycinate is essential for relaxation, restful sleep, and muscle recovery – all things I prioritize as someone who is focused on high-quality sleep for my current and long-term health, as well as movement. HIGHLY recommend!

Great product -- but how much of it am I getting? Unclear labelling
So far they seem to be making a difference. I am a high-performance athlete and was struggling with muscle tightness and limited range of motion, no matter how much I hydrated, foam-rolled, or got massages. A fellow athlete suggested magnesium supplementation and I thought I would try it. I have had great improvement in my mobility without having to scale back my training. I have made huge progress now that muscle tightness isn't holding me back and making me miss training. I am also sleeping better and the best part is my menstrual cramps (which used to wake me up in the middle of the night, even after taking 1200 mg of ibuprofen before bed) have completely disappeared! The only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is that the labeling is confusing. It says 300 mg on the Amazon listing, 400 mg on the barcode, but on the nutrition label it says that 2 capsules deliver 150 mg of magnesium. I can only assume this means the capsules have 75 mg of magnesium, and 225-325 mg of other stuff in them, but that makes it really hard to know how much to supplement. Alternatively, if the capsules have 150 mg of magnesium each, 2 capsules would deliver 300 mg like the Amazon listing (but not the barcode label) says -- however then the nutrition label should say either that 1 capsule = 150 mg, or 2 capsules = 300; not that a "serving" is 2 capsules and each "serving" delivers 150 mg (I hope that makes sense -- but you see why it is confusing!). I would love to get a straight answer from the company about exactly how much magnesium is in each capsule.
