Hi Lift > Other Brands
This is a robust and capable jack. I’ve owned a knockoff and it was much less safe to use due to inconsistent function of the climbing mechanism on the rail of the jack. The Hi-Lift seems much less prone to failure.I intend to use it for many applications but decided to trim it with an angle grinder/cutoff wheel so that it would fit a little better in the bed of my truck. After trimming 7” off it’s still longer than the 48” model which was the reason I decided on a 60” jack.
